The 110 sample were divided into groups of 30 key, 50 casual, and 30 general informants respectively. The analysis was based on the research objectives using a triangulation technique and done descriptively. Historically, the people who lived at Amphoe Wang Saphung began to sell lotteries in 1984. Twelve years later, such part-time job spread to Amphoe Kranuan, Khon Kaen Province and Amphoe Kaedam, Maha Sarakham Province. Currently, the lottery sellers at the three villages chose to sell lotteries in Bangkok, tourist areas, such as Rayong and Nakhon Ratchasima Provinces. Some decided to sell theirs in their own Province. Each month, they left their homes trice: the second and the fourth weeks. They often went in groups using pickup trucks, vans or buses.

En effet sur ordre de mission No 26/OCPlZone Ouest du3l/01196 avec le véhicule NU 61 40874 nous avons debuté un périple dans les régions de Koulikoro, Ségou et Sikasso et le district de Bamako, en vue de vérifier la vente de l'ivermectine dans les pharmacies, les dépôts de médicament ou avec les marchands ambulants de médicaments. Durant notre périple, nous avons visité : 3 Régions : Koulikoro, Ségou, Sikasso 1 District : Bamako 17 Cercles Koulikoro (06 Cercles), Ségou (05 Cercles), Sikasso (06 Cercles). 1. Koulikoro l. Malgré notre fouille, nous n'avons pas trouvé un seul comprimé de mectizan en vente ni dans les pharmacies, ni dans les dépôts de produits pharmaceutiques ni avec les marchands ambulants qui ne connaissent d'ailleurs pas le produit. Dans les centres de santé où nous avons cherché à acheter, on nous a fait savoir que ce médicament n'est jamais vendu et qu'il se donne gratuitement à la population.

    Government Center Water Treatment Plant Kamphaeng Phet Province, Thailand 1. Background information Kamphaeng Phet is a province in the lower north of Thailand. The Ping River (main tributary of the Chao Phraya River) is located at the east of the province, while the west part is mostly mountains covered with forests. Government Center Water Treatment Plant (GCWTP) is owned and operated by the Provincial Waterworks Authority (PWA) of Thailand, a state-owned company established in 1979. This water treatment plant is one of the 233 water treatment plants under PWA. The GCWTP was constructed in 2003 with the capacity of 12,000 m3/d. Additional information is presented in Table 1. Main components of the treatment process are hydraulic mixing, mechanical sludge collector system, fine sand filter, and water backwash with surface washing. 2. Water treatment process flow The major water treatment unit processes are presented as below (Figure 1): Raw water extraction (Ping river) → Raw water pumping → Pipeline static mixing (alum) and hydraulic jump (pre-chlorination) → Flocculation (baffled channel type) → Sedimentation (rectangular, mechanical sludge collector) → Rapid sand filter → Disinfection (post- chlorination) → Clear Well → High lift pump building Sludge treatment: sludge generated from sedimentation and backwashing is transferred to three ponds.
