Editorial 2 Students of church history are well aware that the early centuries of the church have been known as the ‘age of persecution’ but what is becoming clear is that persecution is a major problem at the present time as well. In fact, reports indicate that more people were martyred for their faith in Jesus Christ in the 20th century than in all the previous nineteen combined.
