WarnerMedia Global Access Writers Program | Canada -Link to Apply -Eligibility: A talent activation initiative focused on experienced Canadian writers from underrepresented communities. This program is offered in English and French to people of all genders, abilities and identities from underrepresented communities in Canada, including members of Indigenous, Black, racialized groups, people with disabilities, LGBTQ2+ and Francophone minority communities.

WBTV Writers Workshop -Link to Apply ***2020 Application Period is Closed. Next Round Opens in 2021*** -Eligibility: Program for new writers looking to start and further their career in the world of television. Anyone over the age of 18 who can legally work in the United States and has not previously been staffed on a show is eligible to apply.

WBTV Directors Workshop -Link to Apply ***Applications opens Jan. 4th, 2021*** -Eligibility: Initiative that introduces up-and-coming directors to prime time television. Applicants can submit up to three work samples that they have directed in the past five years. One MUST be a narrative piece (Narrative Short, Feature, Television or a Web/Digital Series).

Sesame Workshop is now taking applications for its 5th Annual Writers’ Room, a fellowship program for underrepresented writers in children’s media. Since 2017, our writing fellows have gone on to write for Sesame Street and various programs at Nickelodeon, Netflix, Disney, DreamWorks, and more!
