Royal Ambassador Resource Book How to Become a Christian God created the universe. He created all the people on the earth with the intent of having fellowship with them forever. But people do wrong things. The Bible calls those wrong things “sin.” Sinful people cannot remain in fellowship with the holy, pure, righteous God. And there is nothing they themselves can do about the problem. God sent His Son, Jesus, into the world to live a sinless life and make the only perfect sacrifice for our sin. The Bible puts it this way: “He made [Jesus] who did not know sin to be sin for us, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him” (2 Corinthians 5:21). But Jesus is not dead! On the third day after His crucifixion, He was raised to life again. Now all those who confess their sin (admit the wrong they’ve done) and trust Jesus (believe in Him, turn away from their sin) receive God’s righteousness and are adopted into God’s family. You can receive this free gift of salvation today. Pray, asking God to forgive your sin. Put your trust in Jesus. Many individuals have contributed over the years and invested their lives to train up godly young men. This guide is designed to serve as a resource for leaders who work with boys through Royal Ambassadors. Special thanks goes to Keith Mack for compiling much of the material included in this book. Keith Mack is the children and youth mission and ministry consultant for Texas Baptist Men. He has been active in the leadership of Royal Ambassadors and Baptist Men since 1983 and has participated in the leadership of several summer camps for male campers (ages 6-18) each year since then. ____________________________________________________________________________ © 2011 Published by the North American Mission Board, SBC 4200 North Point Pkwy.
