The article presents the grounds for the necessity to diversify the mono-economy of old industrial regions and its transition to the innovative development based on the interaction of small and large businesses with the support of municipal, regional and governmental authorities. The examples of the world practice in state regulation of depressed territories of old industrial type and the participation of multinational corporations in their modernization are given. The role of business groups in the diversification of the Kemerovo region economy is described, as well as the importance of supporting this process by the governmental authorities. 1 Introduction The need to diversify the mono-profile (mono-product, mono-industrial) economy of old industrial regions, including the Kemerovo Region, is due to the objective requirement of their sustainable development and increase of social and economic parameters of the terri- torial management system. One of the important factors of this process is the effective in- teraction of small and large business. However, in modern economy, when the existing economic, production, and other links and mechanisms lose their importance and new ones are just being established, to create such interaction and ensure its development the pur- poseful efforts of the authorities on federal, regional and municipal levels are necessary. 2 Materials and Methods It should be noted that there is no "exact" (single, universal) definition of the term "old in- dustrial region", despite the fact that many scientists have paid attention to this phenome- non during the past twenty five years in Russia [1-5]. -

The Thematic Section shows their tree species composition in two different ways. The legend is placed at the beginning of each set of maps. If you are looking for an area near a town or village Go to the Index on page 153 and find the alphabetical list of settlements by English name. The Cyrillic name is also given along with the map page number and coordinates (latitude and longitude) where it can be found. Capitals of regions and districts (raiony) are listed along with many other settlements, but only in the vicinity of intact forest landscapes. The reader should not expect to see a city like Moscow listed. Villages that are insufficiently known or very small are not listed and appear on the map only as nameless dots. The article discusses the place and role of strategic planning in ensuring that Kemerovo Oblast – Kuzbass develops comprehensively. For over thirty years, we have been studying the region with one of the leading national territorial-production centers established in the 20th century, how it emerged and functioned. Studies suggest that without regard to the economies of Russia as a whole and Kuzbass’s neighboring regions in particular, its issues cannot be satisfactorily resolved. At large, when strategic planning followed this assumption, it contributed to how fast and holistically the territory developed. Considering that, in the 21st century, strategy makers diverged from this concept and started to search for new approaches, the region’s economy has slowed down and its living standards have declined sharply. The momentum can be reversed with an active state socio-economic policy. Its previous forms, however, when the state gave preferences to private companies and did not require corresponding growth in standards of living in return, became unacceptable. It is necessary to work out a system of effective solutions and measures with mechanisms for reconciling the interests of the government, business and society within approaches that are adequate to the political and economic reality of today’s world. -

The project plans to create 10 electromobile gas stations along the roads of the Kemerovo region: Kemerovo, Novokuznetsk, Sheregesh, Mezhdurechensk, Prokopyevsk, Kiselevsk, Leninsk-Kuznetsk, Yurga, Belovo, Anzhero-Sudzhensk. Required Investment: - Investments of 270 million rubles. they will allow in a short time to create a network of 10 stations with the necessary infrastructure, launch an affiliate program for distributors, thereby, the company will receive additional competitive advantages. - With investments of 61 million rubles. two charging stations will be built (at the exits from Novokuznetsk and Kemerovo, along the Leninsk-Kuznetsk highway, a back office will be created and the first contract with a distributor will be concluded. -Investments of 35 million rubles. will allow to build the first charging station (at the exit from Novokuznetsk in the direction of Kemerovo), create a back office. Of which: 2%, construction and installation works; 97% - equipment (charging columns, energy storage system, modular design with a canopy, LED video screen, video surveillance system, online ticket office.); 1% other expenses. The business model of the Clean Energy gas station is very similar to a conventional gas station: it is the sale of energy in kWh for electric car drivers. -

We explore the differences in happiness and well-being assessment between single industry towns and poly-functional economies, namely due to the influence of a town forming enterprise. We use the anthropogenic humanized approach to evaluate the impact of the town forming enterprise on the happiness and well-being of people. The article describes application of the anthropogenic humanized facet approach in analyzing social and labor relations of town forming enterprises and single industry towns in general. Peculiar characteristics of social and labor relations and the impact of the town forming enterprise on happiness and well-being are examined on evidence from a single industry town Leninsk- Kuznetsky, Kemerovo region. We provide a rationale to apply an approach encompassing sustainability, well- being indicators and social responsibility of town forming enterprises to assess social and economic development of single industry towns. This approach is applicable to the method for assessing social and labor relations sustainability of a town forming enterprise and a single-industry town, which was developed by the authors. -

D, NEW YORK CITY MARCH, 1937 ~1" MURDER at ihe Kemerovo Mines 'Death in the Mine N DECEMBER 28, 1935, Pichugin and Porsh O.. iHiv, two miners working in the Central Mine of the Kemerovo Colliery in the Kuzbas (Kuznetsk coal field), were gassed by carbon monoxide and died of asphyxiation. It was only thanks to the caution of an experienced hewer, the Stakhanovite Velikzhanin, that the disaster was not worse than it actually was. 'Velik zhaniil led the other workers out of the gas-filled gal lery in go'od tim~. The miners bf the Central Mine grew very uneasy. They had several times complained that the ventila tion was not in working order and that gas was seeping into the mine. On several previous occasions rriiners had shown symptoms of gas poisoning, but the mine management paid no heed to it. The very day before the disaster, December 27, several workers in the pit had shown signs of poisoning, but when the workers complained the mine engineers accused the workers of laziness and of sabotaging the fulfilment of the plan. 3 Bobrov, one of the miners, had appealed to Lash chenko, the engineer in charge of ventilation, to put the ventilation system into proper working order. Lash chenko promised to do so, but did nothing about it. When Ch~kalin and other workers again appealed to Lashchenko to see to it that the ventilation worked properly, Lashchenko replied: "We have no motors. We'll install motors when the Soviet government has money enough. -

The experiment involved 32 federal subjects of the Russian Federation. It resulted in the adopted resolutions of the Heads of the federal subjects of the Russian Federation on the organization of accounting and socio-economic assessment of the natural resource potential. 2. 1993 - Cadaster Institute was established as a subordinate organization of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia for scientific and methodological support of accounting and socio-economic assessment of the natural resource potential. 3. 1993, 1995 - all-Russian seminars on the improvement of accounting and socio-economic assessment of the natural resource potential were conducted in Cadaster Institute. 4. 1996-2000 - Cadaster Institute carried out the first works on the implementation of monetary assessment of natural resources.
