Marconi di Bologna S.p.A. Group’s Consolidated Non-Financial Information Report finds itself grappling with 2020 which, after years of uninterrupted progress and a record year for passenger numbers in 2019, represented an “annus horribilis” for our airport and the aviation sector. As COVID-19 spread across the globe at the beginning of 2020, governments were forced to implement contagion containment measures, which limited mobility and lead to a substantial drop in traffic at Bologna airport within a very short space of time. Ours was one of the few Italian airports to remain open and operational throughout the year, in line with the provisions of Ministerial Decree No. 112 of March 12, 2020, to provide travel to those in need and to import health care supplies on cargo charter flights. Protecting the health and safety of our employees and passengers was an absolute priority for the Group, which adopted strict sanitation measures to prevent the spread of infection among the airport community. Thanks to the measures put in place to mitigate this risk and to create a safe place for staff and passengers, Bologna airport was the first airport in Europe and one of the first in the world to receive Airport Health Accreditation from ACI World. Particular attention was also paid to providing concrete support to employees during a complex and uncertain time, through measures such as remote working for office employees, a dedicated insurance policy covering COVID-19, and employment support through the Extraordinary Temporary Lay-off Scheme from March 21, 2020, and the Special Temporary Lay-off Scheme from March 22 to June 13, 2021. In this regard, the Group undertakes to monitor further regulatory developments and to seek further solutions through the use of temporary lay-off schemes to tackle the ongoing crisis and safeguard Group employment where possible. Although the pandemic has had a major impact on our lives, and those of our families, local companies, the City of Bologna, Italy, and practically the entire planet, it has in no way dented the Group's understanding of the importance of sustainable development, environmental protection, cultivating the local area, meeting the needs of customers and passengers, and valuing individuals. Employees and members of the Management Board were involved in updating the materiality analysis this year so that we could comprehensively integrate sustainability into our strategic approach and take stock of COVID-19's impact on the Group's priorities. The pandemic has heightened our awareness of the environmental protection actions we can and must take as an airport to mitigate the impact of climate change. These include participating in the Airport Carbon Accreditation scheme promoted by ACI World to monitor and improve the airport sector’s carbon footprint. The Group intends to achieve Level 3 certification in 2021 and to support ACI Europe’s ambitious objective of achieving “net-zero carbon emissions from airport operations" by 2050. A Bologna Tper gestisce complessivamente 66 linee urbane, 17 suburbane, 119 extraurbane di cui 13 Prontobus a chiamata. Nell’area urbana di Ferrara sono presenti 21 linee urbane, 15 Taxibus, 44 extraurbane. Servizi ferroviari passeggeri Fino al 2019 TPER ha gestito in partnership con Trenitalia il trasporto passeggeri in ambito ferroviario per la regione Emilia-Romagna, su linee regionali e nazionali. TPER ha operato il 30% del servizio regionale, a fronte del 70% erogato dal partner.

PROFILO DEL GRUPPO Tper S.p.A. (di seguito “Tper” o “Società”), società Capogruppo, e le sue controllate, operano nel settore della mobilità con core business nel trasporto pubblico locale automobilistico e ferroviario. Il Gruppo opera con approccio industriale e secondo regole di mercato così come definito dalla legge regionale per il settore e come voluto dagli enti soci. Il Gruppo è strutturato con un’organizzazione che deriva da specifiche esigenze di svolgimento e sviluppo dei servizi e dalla scelta di operare anche attraverso accordi industriali con partner privati e pubblici puntando allo sviluppo della Mobilità. Le aree di attività del Gruppo coprono diversi segmenti del settore del trasporto, da quello automobilistico, a quello filoviario, a quello ferroviario di passeggeri. TPER gestisce il TPL su gomma nei bacini provinciali di Bologna e Ferrara ed il trasporto passeggeri in ambito ferroviario regionale, in partnership con Trenitalia, sulla base di specifici contratti di servizio, stipulati a seguito di aggiudicazione delle relative procedure ad evidenza pubblica.
