RANDILEN WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREA RESOURCE MANAGEMENT ZONE PLAN 2018-2022 Made under Regulation 32(2), and the Sixth Schedule of the WMA Regulations (2012) by The Council, Randilen WMA, P.O. Box …., Monduli, Arusha, APPROVAL PAGE The Director of Wildlife (hereinafter referred to as the Director) and the “Randilen Society” (RS) (hereinafter referred to as the Authorised Association) and jointly referred to as “the Parties”, and in the singular as “a Party”, undertake: RECOGNISING laws of the land, the roles and responsibilities of the parties and with reference to the management of WMAs (As outlined in the Wildlife Conservation (WMA) Regulations, 2002), CONSCIOUS of the significance and purpose of establishing and managing the “Randilen Society Wildlife Management Area”, (hereinafter referred to as the WMA), as in the context of Tanzania, DESIRING to promote biodiversity, conservation and sustainable socio-economic development of the WMA, for poverty reduction of the local communities surrounding the WMA, HEREBY AGREE AS FOLLOWS: The Director hereby grants approval of the Resource Management Plan (RMZP), as the basis upon which the Authorised Association shall manage sustainably the wildlife and other natural resources in the WMA. Implementation shall be according to the conditions governing the AA and the User Rights as accorded by the Director. This RMZP shall come into effect from the date of signing and shall be considered to operate for a period of 5 years, subject to a revision taking place from time to time. Any such revision, shall be forwarded to the Director for approval, prior to implementation of any proposed changes. The AA may, according to the RMZP, enter into investment or agreement with an investor in accordance with this RMZP, and shall issue regular monitoring reports to the Director.
