Adawa Community Center

The Adawe Community Center took their first road trip. The elders and Title VI Director, Debbie Hopkins enjoyed going to the Dixie Stampede. The Adawe Center group met up with the elders from the and the Eastern Tribe and a few others from residential care centers. There were about 97 folks that enjoyed the show. We had an awesome lunch. They fed us soup, chicken, biscuit, baked Adawe Community Center purchased a new Ford Transit van that potato, corn on the cob and apple will be used for our meal route. This van is very spacious and holds turnover. We had to eat with our all of our ice chests we use for meal routes. David Plott who delivers fingers. They did give us a lot of our meals to those who are home bound enjoys driving the van and napkins. We had a great day. is very happy with the space and easy loading. Adawe Community Center celebrated Mother’s Day on Thursday, May 10. There were goodie bags given to each of the ladies. There were also door prizes. Lunch that included bacon wrapped steak and chocolate dipped strawberries. There were 257 meals served from the dining room. Goodie bags were also sent to the homebound ladies on the meal route. We will be having a father’s day meal on June 15th so be prepared for another great meal.

We still have Nutrition Bingo provided by ITC Food Distribution. Tara brings great prizes.
