Anne Marie Musschoot Marijke Van Damme Woord vooraf Bij het begin van dit werk wil ik graag een aantal mensen bedanken die op welke manier dan ook geholpen hebben bij het tot stand komen van deze scriptie. In de eerste plaats gaat een oprecht woord van dank uit naar mijn promotor prof. dr. Anne Marie Musschoot, die me steeds met raad en daad bijstond. Vervolgens wil ik Kirsten Van Malderen bedanken voor de uiterst snelle ter beschikking stelling van haar licentieverhandeling over het leven van Pol Anri die ze in 2006 voltooide, en voor de fijne en vlotte samenwerking. Uiteraard richt ik ook een zeer groot woord van dank tot mijn ouders, die mijn studies mogelijk maakten en van wie ik altijd alle steun heb gekregen.
