Silver Alexander Valley

The Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a refined and complex wine that combines subtlety and depth. It has a dark ruby color with a deep red edge and displays aromas of fresh blackberries, violets, cola, nutmeg and licorice. Caymus Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

The name, Caymus, has dual origins: it is both the name of a subgroup of Mishewal‐Wappo Indians that lived near the present‐day Yountville, and the name of the Mexican land grant known as Rancho Caymus, given to George Yount in 1836, which eventually became the town of Rutherford. Full‐ blown, ripe and rich, with intense and sharply focused dried currant, wild berry and blackberry fruit that’s still fairly tannic at this stage. Ends with a long, persistent finish.

Kistler McCrea Sonoma Mountain Chardonnay

Kistler Chardonnay is made using traditional French techniques, with the winemaker himself performing the cellar work on the wines. Kistler Chardonnay has a distinct character. It is completely barrel‐fermented using indigenous and cultured yeasts, is aged in 50% new French oak barrels unracked and in contact with all its fermentation lees, has undergone a , receives minimal handling and processing, and is bottled unfiltered and, generally, unfined after 11‐18 months of barrel age.

This southeast exposure means that Latour's vines receive maximum sun and heat for ideal ripeness, which helps explain the greatness of Latour's Corton‐Charlemagne. Silver Oak Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Silver Oak Napa Valley wines are usually a blend of 83% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% , 4% , and 2% Petit Verdot. It is blended usually in February after and transferred from tank to 100% new American oak barrels for aging. Silver Oak blends prior to barreling to achieve a balance of the wine's natural elements, such as fruit and tannin, before they are influenced by oak. The wine is aged in barrel for approximately 25 months to harmonize its components, and another 20 months in bottle before its release.

Chateau Lynch‐Bages Pauillac 5th Cru Classe Bordeaux

The history of the château Lynch‐Bages goes back to the seventeenth century, where the family Lynch was the owner of an estate located on the « plateau of Bages ». This property was separated, during the nineteenth century, into two parts: the château Lynch‐Bages and château Lynch‐ Moussas. The 90 hectares of château Lynch‐Bages are now headed by the family Cazes, where Jean‐Michel Cazes manages the property. The castle was ranked in 1855 as ‘fifth cru classé.

Tenuta Dell'Ornellaia comprises two individual estates, the original Ornellaia property, where the stylish, Napaesque (perhaps reflecting Ludovico's experience in California) is located, having been built in 1987, and then the later addition at Bellaria, north‐west of Bolgheri. Deep and intense wine. Confit style cherry pie fruit, with a smoky character. Full, confit cherry fruit on the palate, there is plenty of structure here. This is an expansive, masculine, rather awkwardly styled wine at present, showing plenty of grip through the midpalate.
