South Carolina Industrial Directory CD-Rom SECTION II – HOW TO USE THE INDUSTRIAL DIRECTORY CD- ROM Files contained on the CD and where they are located: Industrial Directory data files for company and parent company listings are located in the “Industrial Directory Files” folder. GIS industry point locations (for use with ArcView Software only) are located in the “GIS Data Points” folder. Additional potentially usefully industry information is located in the “Other SC Industry Information” folder. This folder includes the SC International Directory, the State’s largest manufacturers by employment and by revenue, and the SC Existing Business Resource Guide. The text and dbase files are comma-delimited, with (“) text qualifiers and the first row contains the field names. Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet For convenience of Excel users, the directory listings are provided in Microsoft Excel 2000 spreadsheets. Excel users may also import files from the text (.txt) or dbase (.dbf) files provided. South Carolina Industrial Directory CD-Rom 2 Microsoft Access Database For convenience of Access users, the directory listings are provided in Microsoft Access 2000 tables.
