Yenisei River Tour: Siberian River Cruise with crossing of the Arctic Circle Norilsk - Dudinka - Yeniseysk - Krasnoyarsk from 07th to 15th of August 2021
Post-Conference-Excursion-Programme: We are happy to offer a unique post-conference river cruise on the Yenisei River from 7 – 15 August, 2021. The trip will include: - Plane ticket from Moscow to Norilsk and from Krasnoyarsk to Moscow - All transfers - 3 meals per day (breakfast, lunch, dinner) - Hotel accommodation (2 persons per room) - Boat cruise (2 persons cabins with sofa, wardrobe and washbasin; toilets and showers on deck) - Excursions and entrance fees To apply for the trip please provide the organizers with your personal and accompanying persons’ credentials.

Day 1 (Saturday, 7th of August 2021) In the morning arrival in the city of Norilsk at the airport “Alykel”. Group transfer to the hotel “Talnakh” with accommodation in double rooms. After lunch excursion to the “Museum of the History of the Norilsk Industrial Area”. Sightseeing tour of Norilsk. Return to the hotel. Dinner.
Day 2 (Sunday, 8th of August 2021) After breakfast departure to Dudinka. Accommodation at the Yenisei Lights Hotel in double rooms. Excursion to the Taimyr Museum of Local Lore (special motto “Initiation into the Taimyrs”). Sightseeing tour of the city of Dudinka. Lunch. Free time. Dinner.
Day 3 (Monday, 9th of August 2021) Transfer to the pier. Boarding of the scheduled motor ship "V. Chkalov", accommodation in 2-persons cabins (each cabin with soft sofas, wardrobe, washbasin). Departure of the ship at 12:00 from the river port of Dudinka. Lunch. Boat tour. Information along the route of the ship. Dinner. At night stop in Igarka and visit of the permafrost museum.
Day 4 (Tuesday, 10th of August 2021) In the morning passage of the Arctic Circle (Kureyka River). You will receive a certificate as documentation this extraordinary event. Free time. After lunch activities in the reading room and visit of the ship’s bridge and the machine room with explanations of the captain. Dinner. Stop in Turukhansk. Here you will see the right tributary of the Yenisei - Lower Tunguska.
Day 5 (Wednesday, 11th of August 2021) Passage of the village of Verkhneimbatsk. After lunch water stop near Bakhta, named after the right tributary of the Yenisei p. Baht. At night, stop at Bor. Information about the villages and people of this region will be given. Here we pass the third largest tributary - the Podkamennaya Tunguska.
Day 6 (Thursday, 12th of August 2021) Passage of the Osinov system. 30 meters from the side of the ship we observe the island “Monastyrsky”, then the rocky islands of Korablik and Barochka. Stop in Vorogovo and after lunch stop in Yartsevo, where we will also visit a local market. Dinner.
Day 7 (Friday, 13th of August 2021) Stop in Yeniseisk, a village that celebrated its 400 years anniversary last year and which is famous for its marvelous wooden buildings.
Day 8 (Saturday, 14th of August 2021) Passing the Kazachinsky threshold - the most impassable section on the Yenisei River near the village of Kazachinsky (233-240 km from Krasnoyarsk). In the evening arrival in the city of Krasnoyarsk at the river station. Transfer to the Krasnoyarsk Hotel, accommodation in 2-bed rooms. Dinner at the hotel.
Day 9 (Sunday, 15th of August 2021) After breakfast group transfer to the airport “Krasnoyarsk”.
Organisational issues: The excursion fee will be around EUR 2500 euros (depending on the actual exchange rate when the trip will take place) and includes: plane ticket from Moscow to Norilsk and from Krasnoyarsk to Moscow; all transfers; 3 meals per day (breakfast, lunch, dinner); hotel accommodation (2 persons per room); boat cruise (2 persons cabins with sofa, wardrobe and washbasin; toilets and showers on deck); excursions and entrance fees.
Binding registration for this excursion and pre-payment of 50% of the expected tour price must be done before 31st of March 2021 (first come – first serve; minimum number of 12 participants will be needed for the realization of the tour).
