About the competition Competition A team competition. 4 competitors per team each complete a set routine and a voluntary routine. Format Final Positions Individual = set score + voluntary score; Team = 3 highest set scores + 3 highest voluntary scores Medals GOLD: winner, SILVER: 2nd place, BRONZE: 3rd place. Individual (Male & Female) and Team medals awarded.

WHAT KIT & EQUIPMENT DO I NEED? Kit & • See dress code below. Coaches are not permitted to wear jewellery in the competition arena. Outdoor shoes / Equipment: fashion and non-sporting clothing are NOT permitted in the competition arena. Coaches will be asked to leave the arena if worn. • Jewellery and Body Piercing - Please see www.british-gymnastics.org for the latest policy on this. The policy applies to all participants and coaches. Failure to comply with the policy will prohibit the individual’s participation on the grounds of reasonable safety. Please note that the chewing of gum is not allowed at any phase of the competition for competitors, coaches and officials. Team Manager • Officials: each team must provide ONE BG qualified judge. Judges may be used in any capacity and must be Notes: available all day. It is not permissible for one judge to officiate for more than one borough. If a borough does not nominate a suitably qualified judge at the time of online entry they will be invoiced by London Trampolining £100 to cover the costs of a replacement judge. In the event of a borough arriving at the competition without their nominated judge or a suitably qualified replacement, the organisers reserve the right to withdraw the borough from the competition. • will be 6x4 and 4x4 beds on both panels for both groups. It is the Team Managers responsibility to ensure your jumpers are familiar with this equipment. Incorrect information provided during nominations can disqualify the team.

SPORT SPECIFIC RULES 1. Each team must be accompanied throughout the competition by at least one coach who must hold a minimum of Gold membership with BG and must be qualified to the level of skills being performed by their gymnasts. Coaches must wear a borough top or other identifiable clothing. Failure to have an adequately qualified coach present may mean competitors have to withdraw or change their voluntary routines and perform only those moves which lie within the qualification syllabus of the coach that is present. 2. None of a club’s competitors will be allowed to warm up or compete unless an adequately qualified coach has signed in and is present in the competition arena. 3. Teams arriving after the competition starts will be deducted two points unless previous notification has been given to the Competititon Director. The decisions of the Competition Director are final. 4. ROUTINES: o All competitors will complete a SET routine and a VOLUNTARY routine for which 4 execution scores and 2 horizontal displacement marks will be recorded. The highest and lowest marks will be deleted and the other three added up to obtain the mark for each routine. o In the VOLUNTARY routine a difficulty score will be added to the scores for execution and horizontal displacement to obtain the total score for the VOLUNTARY routine. o The voluntary routine will be subject to a tariff limit of 5.0 o The SET and VOLUNTARY score will be added to give the score for the individual. o Routines are not required to start with an arm set. o Compulsory set routines are as follows and competitors have a choice of performing either:

o Dress Code: Girls – Leotard or unitard with or without sleeves (must be skin tight). Long tights may be worn (must be skin tight and be the same colour as the leotard) Gymnasts may wear shorts in a single colour and short sleeved T-shirt in a single colour. In all cases above, white shoes and/or plain white foot covering must be worn. For reasons of safety: Covering the face or head is not allowed o Boys - Sleeveless or short sleeved singlet. Gym trousers in a single colour, except black or any other deep dark colour OR Gym shorts. Gymnasts may wear sleeveless/short sleeved, single colour T-Shirt and single coloured gym trousers/shorts. In all cases, white trampoline shoes and/or plain white foot covering must be worn "General-whole team must wear leotards as close to identical as possible. Loose trousers, t-shirts & loose shorts not permitted. Competitors must not wear Jewellery or glitter. Long hair should be tied back. o In all cases above, buckles/belts/zips/diamanté designs etc will NOT be permitted. INCOMPLETE COMPETITION: In the event that the competition is cancelled or suspended, the following steps will be used to calculate a final result. a. Results from all completed events are combined and used to identify the overall winner. b. Event types: Year 12 and under, Year 9 and under c. Minimum requirements: To determine a completed event all competitors must complete the set and/or voluntary routine. To determine a result for the competition 1 event type must be completed. d. Tied teams: will not be separated once scores from events are combined, except in the event that the top 3 teams have the same number of points then the highest number of first place event finishers will be the deciding factor, then second place event e. Borough entry: If a borough has entered the competition but not an event that is used in the scoring calculation, they will be placed in last position.
