DESCRIPTION The East Lake Branch of the Minneapolis Public Library is located on the northern side of East Lake Street just west of 30th Avenue South in south Minneapolis. The building stands in a mixed commercial and residential area surrounded by late 19th and turn of the century houses and one and two story busineses. The main facade faces Lake Street, a busy commercial thoroughfare. The East Lake Branch, which measures
