On April 22, in honour of Earth Day, the Town of Pincourt adopted a new by-law prohibiting the use of single-use plas- tic shopping bags on its territory.

By banning plastic bags in retail stores, the Town of Pincourt is following in the footsteps of the municipalities of Greater by doing its part and contributing to the global col- lective environmental initiative by encouraging consumers and retailers to adopt eco-responsible behaviour.
