How to Find a Word, Words, Or a Sentence in a Pdf How to find a word, words, or a sentence in a Pdf First you need to download the Pdf or the Pdf’s on your computer. Ones you have clicked on a Pdf title, after a while, you will see the Pdf opening. Download-speed depends on your internet speed and your computer. If the Pdf is downloaded and you see it open, save it on your computer in a new folder that you made for it. You can download as many Pdf’s as you want and save them in that a folder. If you downloaded all of them in one folder, then you can also look for a word or more in all that Pdf’s at once. To start a search, you have two possibilities: 1. Searching in one Pdf. Open the Pdf, on the top you have a menu, click on “Edit” and select “Find” for a word in this Pdf. Click on next to see the next place in that Pdf. 2. Searching in one or more Pdf’s. Open one Pdf, click on “Edit”, go to “Advanced search” A window will open. Make your choice “current document” or “All Pdf documents in” If you made the choice “All documents in”, click on the arrow right on the bar below it. There you can look for the place on your computer where you have the Pdf-Folder. If you don’t see the folder click on “Browse for location” and find the folder on your computer, then click on it once. This is the place where the search will be done. Below the definition of the place you can fill in the word, words or even a sentence that you look for in all of the Pdf’s. Below that you can select the format for the search if needed. Click on “Search” button below, another window will open. If you see a Security Warning pop up, click on “Allow” At this point, the computer will do the search, if your word(s) are found in one or more of the Pdf’s you will see the Pdf(‘s) in the “Results:” Near the found results, you see a “+” on the left side, click on it to see all the places in that Pdf where the text is found. You will see part of the sentence where it is located. Click on the sentence you want, the Pdf will open automatic and on the page where the word or sentence is located. Enjoy. Deseo expresarles que, como directora de OTAN, me siento totalmente complacida al tener la oportunidad de guiarlos en este camino hacia la elaboración de una solución para la problemática que se nos está presentando actualmente y manifestarles que me siento orgullosa de poder representar a personas tan preparadas como ustedes, quienes mediante sus conocimientos, colaborarán con la mejora de las naciones del mundo que tanto lo necesitan.     The Challenge of Crimea for Russia’s Domestic and Foreign Policy Sergei Markedonov Associate Professor, Department of Foreign Regional Studies and Foreign Policy, Russian State University for the Humanities In recent Russian history, the year 2014 unquestionably has emerged as the year of Crimea. Following a period of 22 years as a part of independent Ukraine, the Crimean peninsula entered into Russian custody in the form of two separate subjects of the Federation. The Russian Federation increased its territory by 27 thousand square kilometers and its population by over 2 million people.1 More than 22 years after the collapse of the Soviet Union, Russia has set a new precedent in the change of jurisdiction over a territory from one state to another. This event constitutes a watershed in Russian domestic policy and relations between Russia and other countries – such as the newly independent Eurasian countries and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) – and also poses a serious challenge to security throughout Europe. Crimea: Between the Ukrainian state and the Russian choice Until 2014, Crimea did not enter geopolitical considerations of the post-Soviet space. In contrast to the south Caucasus, Tajikistan, and Moldova, after the fall of the Soviet Union, the peninsula did not experience armed conflict related to refugees, displaced persons, or mass casualties. Shortly before the collapse of the Soviet Union, on February 12, 1991, the Supreme Council of Ukraine adopted a law restoring the autonomy of the Crimean oblast as it existed at that time;2 its status has not changed since then. Although this issue rears its head in Kyiv from time to time, it has never advanced to practical steps.

    Ukraine, Crimea and Russia RESEARCH PAPER 14/16 17 March 2014 In November 2013 the Ukrainian government decided not to sign a planned Association Agreement with the EU and demonstrations ensued in the capital Kiev. The ‘Euromaidan’ demonstrations turned violent in early 2014 and in February, some European foreign ministers mediated a compromise, involving a unity government and early elections. After the collapse of a power-sharing agreement on 22 February 2014, Viktor Yanukovych disappeared from Ukraine and a new government which included some controversial figures was installed by the Ukrainian parliament. Later in February unidentified military figures, widely thought in the West to be Russian personnel, surrounded the airports in Crimea, a majority-Russian peninsula in Ukraine and the Crimean autonomous assembly was taken over by pro-Russian forces. This paper looks at the historical and economic background to the crisis and examines claims that the actions by Crimea, which has declared independence from Ukraine, are compatible with international law. It also considers the proposed reaction of Western countries, which include targeted sanctions against those in the Kremlin who are assessed to have been associated with the decisions regarding Crimea.
