Arrival at the airport

When entering the airport arrival hall you will find on the left a kiosk where you can buy tickets for the . On the right you will find the taxi kiosk. Leaving the hall you will be on the sidewalk for the taxi, cross the street to get on the bus-stop sidewalk. Ticket vending machines are available on the sidewalk. Three buses are available to reach the city center:

• 100 Has its terminus at the Zličín terminus of subway B (yellow). It makes 4 stops in between.

• 119 Has its terminus at the Dejvická terminus of subway A (green). It makes 14 stops in between.

• AE Goes directly from the airport to the Dejvická terminus of subway A (green) and continues to the city center with stops in Náměstí Republiky, Masarykovo nádraží, and Hlavní nádraží (). The AE bus requires a special ticket that can be bought on board from the driver.

A 90 minutes ticket should be adequate to reach your hotels using buses 100 or 119. Please check on the Public Transport web page, www.dpp.cz/en, for more details and for an estimate of the travel time.

1 Public Transport in

Public transport in Prague is highly reliable. Dopravni Podnik Prahy (the transport company) has a nice web site that easily allows to look for the connection. The English version of the page can be found on the page: www.dpp.cz/en. The last metro ride leaves the terminal at midnight, after midnight only night buses are available.

Public transport fares Tickets allow you to take any subway, tram, or bus during their validity time. You may be interested in four kind of tickets:

• Short-term ride The ticket lasts for 30 minutes. It costs 24 CZK.

• Standard ride The ticket lasts for 90 minutes. It costs 32 CZK.

• 24-h ticket The ticket lasts for 24 hours from its validation. It costs 110 CZK.

• 72-h ticket The ticket lasts for 72 hours from its validation. It costs 310 CZK. This ticket can not be bought at the vending machines.

The price are given as of October 21st. Vending machines are present at any subway station, see figure 1. You can also buy tickets at the kiosks in the subway station.

2 Meeting location

The meeting will be held in the ELI-Beamline offices in Prague located in the Harfa Office Park. The full address is:

Access to the offices is restricted: please do not forget to register for the meeting so that your name will appear in the list for the receptionist. Unfortunately, Google Maps relies on old pictures showing a parking lot where now there are the Harfa Mall and Harfa Office Park. Anyway, the O2 Arena is already visible, immediately to the East.

How to reach the meeting

Harfa Office Park is well connected with the city center both with the subway and with the tram system. Upon your arrival, please ask the reception on the ground floor for your access card. Access cards need to be returned when leaving.

How to reach the meeting: subway The subway stop for the Harfa Office Park is Českomoravská on the B line (yellow line), see figure 2.

To reach the Harfa Office Park from the subway station, you have to cross the Harfa Mall.

Once you are on top of the escalator turn right to exit to arrive on the Českomoravská bus terminal. In front of you, across the square there is the O2 Arena and on the right the Harfa Mall, the one with the dinosaurs on top, see figures 3 and 4.

4 Enter the mall and go on the escalator in front of you, go across the entire hallway and at the end turn left, see figure 5.

Go straight (more or less) to exit the mall, see figure 6.

Ten meters to your right you will find the entrance of the Harfa Office Park, see figure 7.

How to reach the meeting: tram The tram stop for the Harfa Office Park is Ocelářská on the tram 8 line. Exiting the tram, you will see the Harfa Office Park building, a brand new glass building with flags in front of it. Cross the street (watch left, watch right, lol), go up the stairs, and the entrance will be in front of you, see figure 8. Contrary to coming with the subway, there is no need to cross the Harfa Mall.

6 Wi-Fi connection during the meeting

During the meeting, participants will have access to the ELI “guest” wi-fi network. Details for the connection will be provided on site.

We can not provide you with more info than tripadvisor. Keep in mind they are neither in the city center nor in a particularly interesting area for tourism, while it is a 11 minutes ride between Ceskomoravska subway station and Mustek subway station in the very hearth of Prague downtown.
