Similarly to yogurt, cheese is always present on the table of Bulgarians, and it is a part of many dishes - starters, appetizers and main courses. The white brined cheese, which is prepared in Bulgaria, has a specific taste - it is salty, astringent and crumbly. It is made by cow, sheep or goat milk. Cow cheese is the most popular one. It is sold in all food stores, and it is also exported abroad. For preparing Shopski Style White Cheese there is one important condition - the dish must be baked in a small clay vessel, which holds one portion - an earthenware pot. 2 TRADITIONAL BULGARIAN CUISINE RECIPE WHITE CHEESE - SHOPSKI STYLE NEEDED PRODUCTS In order to prepare Shopski Style White Cheese, you need 250 g white cheese, 20 g butter, 1 egg, 1 tomato, 1 hot pepper. 3 www.bulgariatravel.org RECIPE 1.
