SEA SUNDAY: is when we have the opportunity to remember and pray for seafarers, their families and all who Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament: support them. On Sea Sunday some Catholic Churches around the UK take up a second collection with all funds raised going to the Apostleship of the Sea to support our work. It is a day of remembrance, prayer and Morar: after Mass on Friday celebration, and an opportunity to think about and thank those seafarers who work tirelessly throughout the year . bringing us goods we often take for granted. Morar YOUTH TRIP: We were talking recenlty a lot about getting some of our youngesters more involved and appreciated in the Parish. An idea was born to organise a trip for them. I would like them to decide where and Housebound visits this week ........................................................ ………….Morar what is the best thing to do, but to do so, we have to meet and discuss it. I will be announcing date and time COLLECTIONS: shortly. I am also looking for possible funding to help with the costs of the trip. Food banks help many children whose family can't always afford things. For those families, food banks are really helpful to make sure children and adults eat properly. Fr Willy Slavin will provide supply from 25th July till 31st July and Fr Tom Eternal rest… MacCarte CSSR will be staying in Morar from 31st of July till 7th August to provide cover. CANNA TRIP: It was a good sailing last Wednesday to Canna and there was a good turnout at Mass. Some of our mainland parishioners joined me on the trip. It was good to meet Magda and see the MacKinnons there. LIGHTHOUSE CHURCH is organising a meeting with Andres Segovia, the principal of the Christian School Parish Priest: Fr Stanislaw J. St. Peter’s Parish, Daliburgh has almost concluded its celebrations for 150th anniversary. With the Church re-roofed, new lighting installed and redecorated it has been a busy year! They will end their celebrations with a Mass at which Bishop Brian will preside on Thursday 11th July at 7 p.m. Card.
