Le prime settimane del febbraio 1944 segnarono la conclusione del periodo più nero e sconfortante per il partigianato alessandrino. Le bande di montagna che si erano costituite nell’autunno del ’43, superato a prezzo di duri sacrifici il primo difficile inverno sull’Ap- pennino, allo sciogliersi delle nevi divennero il centro di raccolta di molte reclute partigiane. Tra il febbraio ed il marzo di quell’anno, nella zona fra la vai Lemme e la vai Stura, fu possibile assistere ad una ripresa che ebbe veramente del prodigioso, se si pensa all’orga- nizzazione ancora embrionale del movimento di resistenza ed alle notevolissime difficoltà che i primi gruppi avevano incontrato per sopravvivere su quei monti. Le ragioni di questo rapido sviluppo vanno ricercate non sol- tanto nelle mutate condizioni stagionali e nella migliorata situazione ambientale, ma negli stessi avvenimenti di quei mesi.     Il rzyxwvutsrqponmlkjihgfedcbaZYXWVUTSRQPONMLKJIHGFEDCBAastrellamento-massacro del monte Grappa 21-29 settembre 1944 di Catia Costanzo Boschieri [email protected] Il Grappa è un massiccio delle Prealpi venete - suddiviso fra le provincie di Vicenza, Treviso e Belluno - che raggiunge i 1775 metri di altezza. È un monte isolato, delimitato a ovest dal fiume Brenta, a nord dalla piana di F eltre, a est dal fiume Piave e a sud dalla pianura veneta. Alle sue pendici si trovano numerose cittadine: tra queste Feltre, Possagno, Crespano e Bassano. In Italia il monte Grappa è famoso per gli eventi della prima guerra mondiale. Dopo Caporetto, infatti, diventò baluardo di difesa contro l'avanzare degli austriaci nella pianura veneta. In ricordo di quelle battaglie fuzyxwvutsrqponmlkjihgfedcbaZYXWVUTSRQPONMLKJIHGFEDCBA eretto, durante il fascismo, l'imponente ossario ai caduti. Nella seconda guerra mondiale, invece, divenne teatro del rastrellamento del Grappa - «Operazione Piave» - di cui ora voglio parlare.     1 CAPANNE DI MARCAROLO Codice sito Natura 2000: Fiume: Torrente Piota, Superficie (ha): 9.552 IT1180026 Torrente Gorzente, Torrente Lemme Caratteristiche generali Comuni interessati: Il sito si trova all’estremo sud della provincia alessandrina, nel settore Bosio, Casaleggio Boiro, Lerma, appenninico, al confine con la regione Liguria. Esso è posto tra i Mornese, Tagliolo Monferrato, 225 e i 1.172 metri di quota e occupa la parte superiore dei bacini Voltaggio dei torrenti Piota, Gorzente e Lemme ed è coronato dalle cime del Monte Tobbio (1.092 m), del Monte Figne (1.172 m), del Monte Poggio (1.081 m) e del Monte Pracaban (946 m). I rilievi, dalle cime Stato di protezione: e dai crinali arrotondati, sono percorsi da un reticolo idrografico Area protetta regionale (Parco ramificato e fitto che localmente incide molto profondamente la naturale delle Capanne di roccia; i segmenti minori del reticolo idrografico sono asciutti per Marcarolo); protezione parziale la massima parte dell’anno. RUDYARD KIPLING Questo catalogo è stato realizzato, con diciassette anni di ritardo, da Paolo Repetto e da Fabrizio Rinaldi. La mostra sul Tobbio venne ideata dai Viandanti delle Nebbie nell’autunno del 1996, e fu allestita per la prima volta nel dicembre dello stesso anno presso la sala espositiva del- la Biblioteca di Ovada, in Piazza Cereseto. Era costituita da trentacin- que tabelloni (di dimensioni 1x 0,70) a sfondo nero. Al primo allestimen- to ne seguirono altri tre, a Lerma, a Novi Ligure e a Campo Ligure. Nel Catalogo compaiono alcune immagini che non erano presenti nei tabelloni originali, in sostituzione di altre che sono andate perdute. Il ri- ferimento “colto” della titolazione è naturalmente alle 101 vedute del monte Fuji, la splendida serie pittorica di Hokusai. Eravamo perfetta- mente consapevoli allora della distanza negli esiti, ma siamo ancora oggi convinti della prossimità negli intenti e nello spirito. Le fotografie sono state scattate tutte dai Viandanti, da quelli ufficiali e da quelli in pectore. Anche i disegni, con l’eccezione di un paio di illu- strazioni relative alla fauna, sono opera nostra.

    ANELLO MONTE DELLE FIGNE (mt. 1172) – DA PONTE NESPOLO. Caratteristiche:.Un vero, lungo viaggio nel cuore del parco Capanne di Marcarolo, a cavallo tra Piemonte e Liguria. Partendo dal Ponte Nespolo, un anello tra crinali e fondovalle, in un continuo mutare di orizzonti. Completa l’escursione il passaggio sulle Figne, cima più elevata del parco (mt. 1172). Accesso: Autostrada Milano Genova con uscita Serravalle Scrivia. Si prosegue per Voltaggio seguendo indicazioni per Capanne di Marcarolo. Si supera un guardo in cemento e si sale per una tortuosa e a tratti stretta strada asfaltata per alcuni km fino al Colle degli Eremiti. Da qui si prosegue in discesa per circa 5 km, fino a raggiungere un secondo guado in calcestruzzo (Ponte Nespolo). Si parcheggia a bordo strada, oppure nel piazzale sterrato sotto la Baita Gorzente. Percorso: Dal Ponte Nespolo (in località, denominata anche “Guado”, posta sulla S.P. 165 al suo incrocio con il torrente Gorzente, e ad una quota di m 488 s.l.m..) si sale alla baita Gorzente a monte del Ponte Nespolo, ad una quota di m 507 s.l.m. Dove è presente una bacheca informativa predisposta dal Parco e le paline indicatrici degli itinerari. Gli itinerari che si dipartono dal Ponte Nespolo sono segnalati con una “B” e dal numero specifico. Noi entriamo nel prato antistante e proseguiamo a sinistra di questa, dove il sentiero “due rombi gialli” inizia proprio alle spalle dell’edificio. Si sale subito con buona pendenza sul costone di arbusti, per poi addentrarsi in un rado bosco finchè non si intercetta una pista forestale, che va seguita verso destra in piano fino a giungere alla Cascina Nespolo 621 mt.
