Of course, we have July 1, 2019 through March 23, 2020 * closed our school, but our teachers are still working as our students are still learning. Our teachers are reading to our students * online and having group discussions via google hangouts. Our 8th graders are learning how to play the Ukulele with our music teacher, while in the comfort of their own homes. Our students are taking virtual tours of museums and other places, exercising, and con- ducting lab experiments virtually. We take our remote teaching seriously as a way to edu- cate our students and keep connected. It is what a great school would do. We think that the proper order of life is to maintain the things of this world, especially Monday: those things that are essential to our sense of well-being and security. We do not like change. Tuesday: The grieving that comes from our death experiences can keep us stuck and in despair. We need gentle companions to lift us from despair and that is precisely who God Friday: desires to be in our life as well.
