Jacqui Wallace Brathay Trust

After an eclectic array of jobs in my youth, I began my career in the voluntary sector in 2003 working for South Rape & Abuse Service (now known as the Birchall Trust) and then as an educator for CADAS, delivering group work to young people and providing support on a 1:1 basis. Since 2009 I have worked for Brathay Trust, initially as Senior Youth Worker and for the last 5 years I have been the Cumbria Projects Manager, where I've had the opportunity and privilege to create, develop and manage some of the most impactful and rewarding programmes for disadvantaged young people; including New Beginnings, a 3 year project to support young people who were preparing to, or who had left care.
