Efter 25 års uppehåll går det åter att köpa nya Lancior i Sverige! Kajsa Olofsson , sales manager hos det nybildade Fiat Group Automobiles Sweden AB, bjöd den 20 sept. in till visning och lanseringen av de nya Lanciamodeller som skall säljas i Sverige. Två italienskbyggda, Delta och Ypsilon och två amerikanskbyggda f.d. Chryslermodeller Thema och Voyager. Och malmöborna med Magnus Nilsson, fick se detsamma ett par dagar senare. Försäljningschefen Sven Craug gjorde en videopresentation med historisk återblick på Lanciafabrikens legendariska bilproduktion och tävlingsverksamhet, tillsammans med duktiga medhjälpare samt återförsäljare, och avtäckte därefter fyra nyheter som matchade den blå logotypen i sina mörka metallicfärger, vilka vi efter den italienska vickningen kunde bekanta oss med. Nya Deltan har redan börjat säljas och Voyagern kommer snart. Theman kommer någon gång till årsskiftet och nya Ypsilon i början på nästa år. Deltan med 1750 cc motor på 200 hk är mycket smidig men ändå rymlig och med en fantastiskt välgjord skinninredning.. Bilarna som imponerade mest var ändå Theman och Ypsilon. Theman hade jag på förhand avfärdat som en Chrysler 300C med Lanciamärken, men det visade sig inte helt sant. Invändigt var bilen helt omgjord. Borta var all tråkig amerikansk plast och fula instrument/reglage. Panelerna var istället klädda med fint italienskt läder och även om totalintrycket var något åt det svulstiga hållet, så tycker nog jag att man känner igen mycket ifrån Thesis. Den nya Ypsilon, baserad på Fiat 500, men har i Lanciautförandet vuxit till 4 dörrar! Och med den nya twin air (dubbelturbo) 2 cylindriga (!) motorn på 85hk, med näst intill försumbara koldioxidutsläpp. Här leder Fiat helt klart utvecklingen i bilvärlden. Alla biltillverkare projekterar nu mindre motorer med färre antal cylindrar, medan Fiat redan har dem i produktion. Det skall bli spännande att få provköra Ypsilon när den lanseras. Redan utanför entrén tätnade mystiken. Vi hoppas på ett gott och givande samarbete med den nya generalagenten i Sverige och önskar dem lycka till. Grandios presentation i restaurant Clustret i Stockholm. I mörka metallic- färger och i blå belysning avtäcktes Lanciabilarna en efter en. Här ses Ypsilon, Delta och Thema. Kalle Hansell och Sven Craug fördjupade i tekniska specifikationer. Lancia Ypsilon med Twin-air-motorn… och motorrummet i Lancia Delta. Lasse Filipsson, Anita Nylén och Per Edvardsson avnjuter fikat medan Bosse Nylén provar utrymmet i Lancia Ypsilon. Den smakfulla skinninredningen i Deltan …. och här i full frihet under en provtur. Som jag förstått det, tycks generalagenten dock ha en striktare policy mot verkstäderna. De måste nu vara certifierade Lanciaverkstäder för att få köpa reservdelar. Det verkar som om gamla Chryslerverkstäder kommer att serva Lancia. Jag tror dock att många med mig kommer att även i fortsättningen vilja serva sina Lancior hos de duktiga Fiat/Alfa-verkstä- der som har lång och gedigen erfarenhet av Fiat-familjens bilar. Om er favoritverkstad får svårt att skaffa delar till nya Lancior så hör av er så skall vi hjälpa till att skaffa fram dem. SALUTORG Mycket finns i lager ! och resten kan skaffas ! NORDISK TRÄFF 2012 – i Halden, en historisk plats i Norge ! 8-10 juni 2012. Förbered redan nu både Lancian och familjen på en härlig tur till Norge. HÖSTTRÄFFEN I KÅRSTA av Bo Nylén & Sune Lundin Årets traditionella höstträff var i år förlagd till vår mångårige Lanciaklubbmedlem Lennart Sandbergs hemvist i Kårsta, en bit söder om Norrtälje. Hans följeslagare i livet Susanne Elg, hade dagen till ära dukat med blomster och nygräddad äppel- rabarberkaka i trädgården, och i den 18 m höga flaggstången hissades såväl den svenska som Lanciaflaggan. Och platsen är minsann inte vilken som helst heller. Här residerade en gång ”Rabarberkungen” av Kårsta. Med ett flertal växthus på de stora ägorna, liknande vanliga långsträckta växthus, men helt utan fönster, täckta för att den rara Glasrabarbern skulle förmås att i smala skira stänglar, söka sig upp mot himlen. Här har nu Lennart inrett innehållsrika garage och museum och sonen Per-Simon en inbjudande bar för blötare fester. Och utanför, med gräns mot roslagsbanans pittoreska stationshus, bredde den stora inbjudande gräsmattan ut sig, där vi parkerade bilarna vartefter de anlände – i en cirkel som påbjudits av Lennart. Där körs nämligen linstyrda små flygplan runt, runt när inte vackra bilar är där. Stort deltagande i härlig miljö och strålande Lancia-väder. Ett rabarberland kantar den inbjudande infarten till Kårsta-residenset. Många rara Lanciabilar och Sune Lundin. Per Edvardsson, Susanne och Birgit med Herbert Nilsson i den klassiska Lanciatröjan. Mycket att prata om blev det. Lancia kan vi ju redan, så därför var intresset så mycket större för värdfolkets bil, i vilken de gjort flera längre sommarutflykter. Magnus Wålinder, Mats Thillman, herrskapet Filipsson, Kalle Hansell och Peter Tibell samlade runt den sällsynta tingesten. En Bristol Coupé typ 400, årgång 1950 som Lennart nu haft i 50 år. Motorn typ 85 C, är en rak 6-cyl. med 2 liters volym på 100 hk, och originalutrustad med platinatändstift med M10-gänga och tyvärr bara 4 ramlager.

PRESENTAZIONE volontari del progetto STAF (Storia della Tecnologia delle Automobili FIAT), istituito nel 2009 al fine di selezionare i disegni tecnici più rilevanti per documentare l’e- I voluzione tecnica delle automobili FIAT, sono venuti a contatto anche con i disegni Lancia, contenuti in una sezione dedicata dell’Archivio Storico FIAT: il materiale vi era stato trasferito quando, nel 1984, la Direzione tecnica di FIAT Auto, il settore aziendale incaricato di progettare le automobili dei marchi FIAT, Lancia e Autobianchi, era stata riunita in un unico fabbricato, all’interno del comprensorio di Mirafiori. Fu nell’oc- casione del ritrovamento di questo nucleo di disegni che i partecipanti al progetto si proposero di applicare il metodo impiegato nel predisporre il materiale raccolto nel libro FIAT, storie di innovazione tecnologica nelle automobili, anche per preparare un libro analogo dedicato alle automobili Lancia. Questo secondo libro, attraverso l’esame dei disegni tecnici, del materiale d’archivio e delle fotografie di automobili sopravvissute, illustra l’evoluzione delle vetture Lancia e i loro contenuti innovativi, spesso caratterizzati da elementi di assoluta originalità. Il reperimento del materiale si è mostrato, tuttavia, più arduo rispetto al lavoro sulle vetture FIAT, almeno per le automobili più anziane, poiché l’archivio dei disegni Lancia era organizzato senza impiegare una struttura logica di supporto, per distinguere agevolmente i diversi gruppi funzionali dai particolari di puro dettaglio.

    Camera di Commercio Industria Artigianato Agricoltura Savona Comunicato stampa n. 35 del 22 settembre 2004 La 500 Miglia Roma – Montercarlo Viaggio nella storia di antiche signore Hanno nomi che evocano atmosfere d’altri tempi: Balilla, Torpedo, Alfetta, Giulia e Spitfire. Sono le “antiche signore”, le 38 auto storiche che hanno attraversato quasi un secolo di storia senza perdere smalto e grinta. Si tratta di esemplari di pregio, alcuni dei quali unici. Tra questi, la Lancia Artena, la sola vettura superstite delle tre costruite nel 1934, e che presenta queste caratteristiche: 2000 cavalli di cilindrata, 4 cilindri a V stretto, seconda serie, carrozzeria speciale Viotti. Un altro esemplare di grande pregio, il più antico tra quelli che partecipano alla 500 miglia ed unico in Italia, è la Torpedo Cabriolet Wippet 96/A, la cui costruzione risale al 1928. Di questa vettura – ritrovata in Argentina e di progettazione anglo-canadese – sono stati realizzati solo 250 esemplari (4 cilindri in linea, valvole laterali, cilindrata 2400) ed il prezzo di acquisto, all’epoca, fu di 600 dollari. Nel mondo ne sono rimasti solo 6-7 esemplari. Gli appassionati di cinema potranno, inoltre, ammirare un vero cimelio: si tratta della Lancia B24, modello Pininfarina, utilizzata nel film di Dino Risi del 1962, “Il Sorpasso”, interpretato da Vittorio Gassman, Jean Louis Trintignant e Catherine Spaak. La vettura, costruita nel 1958 (cilindrata 2500), percorrerà il tragitto della 500 Miglia, richiamando alla memoria la celebre pellicola. I nostri concittadini e gli ospiti che soggiornano nella nostra Riviera avranno la possibilità di ammirare questi esemplari il 24 e il 25 settembre nell’ambito della 7^ e dell’ 8^ tappa lungo il percorso che porterà le autovetture da Genova a Montecarlo.

Se escludiamo due piccole esposizioni, una nel 1898 e l'altra l'anno successivo, in cui ad esporre sono gli orgogliosi proprietari delle vetture, e non già le case costruttrici, la prima "Mostra di Automobili" si é svolta a Torino dal 1 al 24 aprile del 1900, alla Palazzina delle Belle Arti. A Milano, dal 5 al 27 maggio dell'anno successivo, il 1901, si svolge la..."I Esposizione Internazionale dell'Automobile e del Ciclo". Ma la ..."I Esposizione Internazionale degli Automobili" ha anche luogo a Torino, dal 5 al 21 febbraio del 1904. Da notare che nel 1902, a metà strada tra il 1901 e il 1904, nell'ambito dell'Esposizione di Arti Decorative Moderne di Torino vi è stata una esposizione automobilistica, fortunatamente senza numero. Nel 1905, tra gennaio e febbraio, si svolge a Torino quella che é definita la "II Esposizione Internazionale di Automobili". A cui risponde Milano nello stesso anno, qualche mese dopo, con una manifestazione senza numero, sobriamente intitolata "Mostra del Ciclo e dell'Automobile". Torino insiste, nel 1906, a febbraio, organizzando la sua "III Esposizione Internazionale di Automobili" (ormai, come numero effettivo di edizioni, tra le due sedi, saremmo arrivati globalmente a sette), e Milano ripete, dal 28 aprile al 7 giugno, la sua "Mostra dell'Automobile". Nel 1907, stesso copione: Torino organizza la sua "IV Esposizione Internazionale di Automobili", mentre Milano corre ai ripari con la sua "III Mostra del Ciclo e dell'Automobile".

I have scanned these pages as text & then carefully edited the result in an MS Word table. During the editing I eliminated the Fiats & the few other marques. I have the full data if anyone is interested. Sorting this table allows some useful observations, which I give below & I hope will inspire others to comment. The original table was more or less in chronological order, but the table below is in strict chronological order. It can of course be sorted by column as one pleases, & I have done this & made the comments below.
