Sausmarez Manor

The House, parts of which date to the early 13th or late 12th centuries, has been altered, reduced and added to over the years with major changes in Tudor, Queen Anne, Regency and Victorian times. Today, The Manor lends itself for these functions and meetings that require the something different. Built by the English after the loss of Normandy in 1204, Castle Cornet is the ancient Royal fortress standing guard over the town and harbour of St Peter Port. The Castle is one of Guernsey's most prestigious locations for events, both indoors and out

Hatton Gallery Your guests can be treated in grand style in the sizeable Hatton Gallery, surrounded by a selection of art from the Museum's extensive collection. Located on the top floor of the Upper Barracks (or Married Quarters), guests will arrive through the Maritime Museum, and up to the Hatton Gallery where they can enjoy views over the harbour and neighbouring islands. The Hatton will hold 220 people for a standing reception and up to 118 for a seated dinner, or 100 for a presentation.

Amherst Room Situated on the top floor of the Lower Barracks, this multi-purpose function room features original beams and rafters and can accommodate approximately 125 guests standing or 72 seated. As well as staircase access from the Lower Barracks, the room also has its own access from Middle Ward and lawn which guests can enjoy in the warmer weather.

German Military Underground Hospital

The largest construction in the Channel Islands at 7,000 square metres, the underground hospital was hewn out of solid rock.

Construction began in the winter of 1940 and was built underground so as not to be seen by overhead planes given the site was also used as an ammunition store. The hospital is truly an eerie insight into life on the island at the time.

German Naval Signals HQ

The headquarters of the German Naval Commander Channel Islands was established in the nearby La Collinette Hotel, and the Signal HQ was responsible for all radio traffic to and from Germany and the other Islands. Visit the last operational Signals HQ that was running up until 9 May 1945, using the Enigma code machines that were being decoded by the staff at Bletchley Park.

Underground Military Museum

This museum covers Guernsey's military history, including World War One and the German Occupation of the island from 1940 to 1945 during World War Two, as well as the island's own militia. Set in a complex of air-conditioned tunnels that were built by German forces as a fuel storage facility for their U-Boats, the museum is near La Vallette bathing pools and features various military and occupation memorabilia. For those interested in the German occupation of Guernsey, La Vallette Underground Military Museum offers a wide variety of exhibitions, displays and information on this time.

Island Tour

Leaving St Peter Port, the tour passes by the iconic fortification Castle Cornet, before heading through the picturesque St Martin's Village, and then heads towards the unmissable pottery- decorated at Les Vauxbelets, and the stunning views on offer from the most south-westerly point, on the cliff top at Pleinmont. The small coach takes you along the tight countryside lanes the others can`t reach.

Dropping down to sea level, the tour stops at the Guernsey Pearl Centre, before heading up the West Coast of the island and inland. The coach will then head north towards St Sampson's and 'The Bridge'. The tour then heads inland to the Guernsey Freesia Centre, from here you head along the east coast overlooking Island and Sark as the tour heads back into the heart of St Peter Port.

Coasteering is a relatively new activity that is gaining rapidly in popularity. It couldn't be more simple. Coastal exploration at sea level, turning waves and rocks into playthings, an exhilarating mixture of swimming, scrambling, jumping and exploring caves, gullies and caverns. On selected days throughout the year Adventure Sark offer you the chance to experience one of the most unique coasteering environments in the world.
