Supplementary notes to accompany the best results table- ALTON The Cup games were when the club was known as Alton Town. AMESBURY TOWN Only the second win in the Competition. EAST COWES VICTORIA The Verwood win is the only success in the competition. FAWLEY AFC Sadly, the club have yet to win in the FA Cup after six attempts. LYMINGTON TOWN The win over Harrow Hill was played at Bashley. NEW MILTON TOWN Achieved when known as Lymington & New Milton. SOLENT UNIVERSITY FC The win at Lydney is the only win enjoyed by the club. TADLEY CALLEVA The club have yet to "win" in the FA Cup but were "awarded" this win. US PORTSMOUTH The victory over Andover was played at AFC Portchester. One from Gary’s archives. When Tadley Calleva were awaiting their move to Barlows Park they used an outside pitch at the ground of neighbouring AFC Aldermaston. Sub (not used): Jeffrey Notes: This was first against second in the division and if BAT were going to catch their opponents, who were well placed with matches in hand, then they needed to win this one. The trend of this game was set early on and didn’t really swing any other way as Tadley dominated.
