Steve's a party pooper. He always refuses to dance. party animal - a person known for frequent and wild partying

Have you ever met Michael? He's a real party animal. He has been out three nights this week already.

I had fun at the party but I can't remember anything after the keg stand I did. - a in which players attempt to throw ping pong balls across a table into an opponent's half-filled cups of beer

Aaron was the best at beer pong last night. He made every shot he took. rager - a wild party

I went to her house for a quiet meal. I didn't know Lily's party would turn into a rager.

BYOB - short for "bring your own beer." A party in which the guests are expected to arrive with their own drinks.

We ran out of beer very quickly. No one had read on the invitation that it was a BYOB party. toast - an act of proposing or of drinking in honor of a person, usually made in the form of a speech

Steve is very shy and usually doesn't speak in public but the toast he made last night at the party was impressive.

Speed Conversation

Example situation: Plan the best party ever with your conversation partner(s).

Students should sit across from a classmate. The teacher will assign a situation for each group of students to talk over. Students should rotate partners every 2-3 minutes.
