The thick stone walls, high ceilings, fireplaces in most rooms give it such character. It was The Presbytery from the 1960’s through to 1970’s for St Josephs Church, but built in 1911 it had originally been a farmhouse. The house has grown with us, the enhancements include, double French doors leading onto a raised decking area that receives the morning and late afternoon sun. A side patio gets the afternoon sun and the Hobbit House the afternoon and early evening sun. The mature and private gardens are safe and secure for young children and pets. There is so much scope for entertaining but also smaller areas for contemplation and “chilling” for teenagers and adults alike. Whitnash is within easy reach of both Leamington Spa and Warwick and a short drive to the railway station and M40. Growing in popularity the local amenities include, good schools and places of worship, doctors, pubs, café and soon a community hub and plenty of green spaces. It will be difficult to leave this much loved family home but the time feels right to pass onto new owners who we hope will love and feel loved in it. KEY FEATURES Outside Double electric wrought iron and pedestrian gates open onto a substantial driveway with ample parking for numerous vehicles and leads to a garage and double carport in front of this imposing property. There is a raised lawn with seating under the tree and a gate leading through to the side sun terrace and into the private rear gardens. With well maintained boundary hedgerow, the garden is laid to lawn with mature shrubs borders. There is a feature ornamental pond, a summer house, shed and a wonderful Hobbit house; this is an ideal space to entertain friends and family. Steps rise up to a decked sun terrace at the back of the house with double doors into the snug and the sitting room. There is also access from the garden down to a two chamber cellar.
