Axiña toma contacto co galeguismo e o Seminario de Estudos galegos. Destes anos son as súas primeiras publicación poéticas en castelán Trinitarias e La soledad confusa 1931-33 Participa na fundación do Partido Galeguista, nas mobilizacións a prol da galeguización da Universidade e redacta xunto a Lois Tobío, o anteproxecto de Estatuto presentado polo SEG. Destes anos son as súas primeira publicacións en galego Vieiros , O silenzo axionllado e colaboracións en Nós 1933 Rematada a carreira de Dereito instalase en Ferrol, casa con Ignacia Ramos e decide rematar a carreira de Filosofía e Letras “por libre” 1936-39 O golpe militar o pilla en Madrid onde, rematada a carreira de Filosofía e Letras, dispoñíase a presentarse as oposicións para docencia. Alístase nas milicias republicanas, loitando en Madrid e Andalucía, onde o sorprendeu a fin da contenda. Apresado polas forzas franquistas e acusado de «separatista», é condenado a 12 anos de prisión dos que cumprirá dous en Xaén de onde sairá en liberdade provisoria pero inhabilitado para acceder a empregos públicos 1950 Nestes anos traballa en precario na docencia privada en Ferrol ata que en 1950 trasládase a Lugo para dirixir o Colexio Fingoi, fundado polo empresario galeguista Antonio Fernández. Publica Anxo de Terra. Un feito de gran transcendencia e tamén neste ano o nacemento da Editorial Galaxia, un proxecto que agrupou o galeguismo resistente no exilio interior, presidido por Otero Pedrayo e capitaneado por Ramón Piñeiro e Francisco Fernández del Riego, que foi fundamental na continuidade e revitalización da cultura galega, e no cal Carballo se comprometeu intensamente desde o primeiro momento. Neste ano gaña o premio de novela galega convocado por Bibliófilos Gallegos coa obra A xente da Barreira, primeira novela en galego publicada na posguerra 1954 Doutórase en Madrid ca tese Aportaciones a la literatura contemporánea, ao mesmo tempo que Galaxia publica a versión (previa e máis reducida) en galego desa obra, titulada Sete poetas galegos. Nestes anos son frecuentes as súas colaboración en publicacións como Aturuxo, Alba, La Noche ou Cuadernos de Estudios Gallegos 1958 Ingresa na RAG co discurso Contribución ao estudo das fontes literarias de Rosalía. que foi respostado por Otero Pedrayo 1965 Recibe autorización para exercer o ensino público como agregado de instituto no Liceo Feminino Rosalía de Castro, de Santiago de Compostela, tamén comeza a impartir clases de lingua e literatura galegas na Facultade de Filosofía e Letras da Universidade de Santiago 2 Biblioteca Xeral da Universidade de Santiago de Compostela BIBLIOGRAFÍA DE RICARDO CARVALHO CALERO NA BUSC 1972 Convértese no primeiro catedrático de Lingüística e Literatura Galega da USC, xa con dedicación exclusiva á universidade. Dende os anos 60, o seu traballo céntrase no labor filolóxico, en particular no campo da historia literaria con traballos como a Gramática elemental del gallego común ou a monumental Historia da Literatura Galega Contemporánea. Tamén abondan neste período as colaboracións en Grial de cuxo consello de redacción formou parte ata 1988 1975-80 Á morte do ditador, a instauración do réxime democrático e o inicio do goberno autonómico terán unha enorme influencia no seu pensamento político e o levan a unha discrepancia tanto relativa ao autogoberno como á política lingüística. O seu compromiso e cada vez máis estreito co nacente movemento reintegracionista, do cal se converte desde finais da década dos setenta en principal inspirador e figura de referencia. Comeza a asinar a súa obra como Carvalho Calero e inicia a revisión e reedición da súa obra poética (Pretérito imperfeito, 1927-1961 , Futuro condicional, 1961-1980 ) teatral (Teatro completo) e narrativa (A gente da Barreira e outras histórias , Narrativa completa). De tema lingüístico, publica os volumes Problemas da língua galega e Da fala e da escrita nas que defende a súa proposta lingüística 1982-83 As Normas do Idioma Galego de 1982 elaboradas e aprovadas pola Real Academia Galega e o Instituto da Lingua Galega, contrárias as teses defendidas por Carvalho..serán a base da "Lei de Normalización Lingüística" aprobada polo Parlamento autonómico o ano seguinte. A súa discrepancia lingüística e política non fai mais que acrecentar a súa posición absolutamente crítica e independente. Contemporary debates about identity in post-national Iberia are often contingent upon the belief that since the nineteenth century there was a singular, official Spanish national identity that in the last few decades has been superseded by the political recognition of Spain’s autonomous communities.

    Media Release Date: 19/05/2008 Communiqué aux médias No. 068 Medien-Mitteilung Referee appointed for UEFA Champions League final The UEFA Referees Committee today announced the referee for the final of the 2007/08 UEFA Champions League between Manchester United FC and Chelsea FC to be played at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow on Wednesday 21 May, kicking-off at 20.45 CET (22.45 local time in Moscow). The match will be handled by Slovakian referee Lubos Michel, who celebrated his 40th birthday last Friday. Born in Stropkov, he made his refereeing debut at a 6th-category match between FK Duplin and FK Strocin in 1987. By 1993, he had graduated to the top division and, in the November of that year, made his international debut at a match involving England – a European Under-21 Championship fixture against San Marino. Lubos Michel was at the Sydney Olympics in 2000 and handled the Brazil v Argentina final of the 2005 FIFA Confederations Cup (Carlos Tévez was 72nd-minute sub). He had become the first referee from the independent Slovakia to officiate at a FIFA World Cup match (the Paraguay v South Africa fixture in 2002). At the 2006 finals he refereed the Portugal v Mexico game (Paulo Ferreira and Ricardo Carvalho played; Cristiano Ronaldo was on the bench), plus the Brazil v Ghana match (Michael Essien unused) and the Argentina v Germany game that featured Michael Ballack and Carlos Tévez. Lubos Michel was referee of the 2003 UEFA Cup final in Seville between FC Porto and Celtic FC. At EURO 2004, he handled the Greece v Spain, Switzerland v France and Sweden v Netherlands games.

Some speak about the footballizaton of Portuguese society', and criticize the hegemony of football in Portuguese culture, along with it the close (and sometimes dangerous) connec- tions between football and politics . What is so interesting about this phenomenon is that it is juxtaposed with other facts, such as stadium attendance being surprisingly low. The essay brings to the forefront the particularities of the Portuguese football social formation case by taking these two current realities as a point of departure . In analysing stadium attendance over three decades against specific historical backgrounds, the authors present six different factors which explain the paradox and come to the conclusion that both realities are not contradictory – but partly determining each other.     FOOTBALL AGENTS IN THE BIGGEST FIVE EUROPEAN FOOTBALL MARKETS AN EMPIRICAL RESEARCH REPORT FEBRUARY 2012 Raffaele Poli, CIES Football Observatory, University of Neuchâtel Giambattista Rossi, João Havelange Scholarship, Birkbeck University (London) With the collaboration of Roger Besson, CIES Football Observatory, University of Neuchâtel Football agent portrayed by the Ivorian woodcarver Bienwélé Coulibaly Executive summary While intermediaries acting in the transfers of footballers have existed since almost the birth of the professional game, the profession of agent was not officially recognised until 1991 when FIFA established the first official licensing system. In November 2011, there were 6,082 licensed agents worldwide: 41% of them were domiciled within countries hosting the big five European leagues: England, Spain, Germany, Italy and France. This research project firstly investigates shares in the representation market of players in the five major European championships. By presenting the results of a survey questionnaire, it analyses the socio-demographic profile of licensed football agents in the above mentioned countries, the business structure of their activity, the different kinds of services provided, and the way in which they are performed from a relational point of view (network approach). The analysis of shares highlights that the big five league players’ representation market is highly concentrated: half of the footballers are managed by 83 football agents or agencies. Our study reveals the existence of closed relational networks that clearly favors the concentration of players under the control of few agents. Footballers are not equally distributed between intermediaries. Conversely, dominant actors exist alongside dominated agents. One fifth of the agents having answered to our questionnaire manage the career of half of the players represented on the whole.
