Over 1,300 student‐athletes from the conferenceʹs nine member schools and 17 associate member schools were honored. ʺWe are happy to celebrate the outstanding academic accomplishments of our student‐athletes,ʺ said Dranoff. ʺAs we know, this past year was not an easy one ‐ athletically, academically or emotionally ‐ for any of the team members we are honoring. However, they all worked to be successful and we are extremely proud of their hard work and dedication.ʺ Molloy led the way with the most honorees, coming in at 203. The Lions were the only school to top 200 student‐athletes on the list. St. Thomas Aquinas was the runner‐up with 158, while Mercy was close behind with 154. In addition, Bridgeport, Daemen, New York Tech, and Roberts Wesleyan each had over 100 student‐athletes make the list. The Commissioner’s Honor Roll is awarded to student‐athletes who receive a 3.25 or better cumulative grade point average. This annual recognition, in addition to Scholar‐Athlete awards, helps to uphold the East Coast Conference’s mission of promoting the total person and the ability to excel not only in the athletic arena but also in the classroom.
