Please include all that are not subject to private contracts. What is the total expenditure on food and what proportion is thrown away? I would like the figures separated by year. Total expenditure on food is detailed in the table below. Chief Executive Michael Moore MP & Jim Hume MSP: 27.06.14: The Chief Executive and Chairman continue to meet regularly with MPs and MSPs to brief them on local health service issues. Open Forum: 10.07.14: The Chief Executive continues to hold open forums for all staff to attend at various locations within the NHS Borders estate. He met with the Finance Department staff and Occupational Health Service staff most recently. Community Hospitals: The Chief Executive visited Hawick Community Hospital (10.07.14) Kelso Hospital and The Knoll Hospital (17.07.14) and Hay Lodge Hospital (18.07.14) to engage with both staff and patients. As in they died ONLY from Covid 19. I can see the figures that you publish online, but these are deaths that occurred within 28 days of a positive covid test, so they could have died from other causes. I would like to know the exact figures, from 1st February 2020 until the 31st December 2020, of people who have died from Covid-19 ONLY, and not from other causes please. The review findings were published 26 June 2018. 2) A small number of records reported in this publication as over 12 hour waits prior to March 2014 reflect errors in recording, and are not genuine long waits. Figure 1 shows the information provided to us from NHS boards with approximate counts for the number of over 12 hour waits which are in error in 2011/12 to 2013/14. It is important to note that based on 1.6million attendances per year, these erroneous records do not impact at all on the percentage compliance with the 4 hour standard either within a Board or at a Scotland level.

As NHS Borders continues to deliver high quality services to its communities, the work to shift the balance of care from acute to community health services and supporting individuals to manage their own health and wellbeing more proactively, will continue as different ways of working are explored and more services are moved out of hospitals and into communities, re-prioritising spend on these services. Where NHS Borders makes investment in its infrastructure this will be in the context of the design of health and care services that reflect and address future need; that have been developed to take full advantage of latest advances and best practice; and that are designed in collaboration with partners and with flexibility to evolve and meet future challenges. The Board has and is continuing to invest to maintain and improve the quality of its assets and infrastructure to allow high quality services to be provided to the population of the Borders. Key areas of focus over the last 2 years have been investment in primary care premises, energy efficiency projects and the rolling programmes of work. The backlog maintenance requirement for NHS Borders is estimated at £8.29m, an increase of £1.43m from that reported within PAMS 2015, yet we have managed to maintain 98% of the estate in a ‘satisfactory condition’.

A core site is generally defined as a large hospital containing an Accident and Emergency department. A noncore site is generally a smaller hospital or minor injuries unit.
