The new campus will be known as the Aberystwyth Delegation Innovation and Diffusion Campus (AIDC). The Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) will invest up to £14.5m to help establish the world leading Aberystwyth Innovation and 10 Enhancement Diffusion Campus for food and renewable energy and will be a key partner in of IT facilities delivering this ground-breaking project. Contributions from other stakeholders, including the University, are expected to bring the total investment in this project to over £35m.
