Adam Carroll Adam Carroll graduated in 1997 from the University of Northern Iowa with a degree in Broadcasting and a minor in Marketing. While still in school and directly afterwards, Adam worked for a direct sales company marketing and selling study guides to families in California and Michigan. This afforded him the opportunity to spend 3 months traveling around Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, and Hawaii shortly after getting his degree. After bouncing from one sales job to another, Adam realized his passion for public speaking and was hired as Area Manager for a division of Monster.com. The company, called Making It Count, delivered a motivational message to high school and college students. Within a year’s time, Adam had spoken to over 120,000 students in 15 different states. While working for Monster, Adam created a program called The Money Game and developed a concept for a company called National Financial Educators. The goal of the company was to educate young people about their finances, and how to take control of money before it took control of them. After spending a few years as a small business consultant (and riding out his non-compete agreement), Adam decided to forge ahead and get National Financial Educators off the ground. Last year, Adam and the NFE speakers presented The Money Game to almost 45,000 students. While his focus is mainly financial, his passion is educating people on how to create better lives by examining what is most important to them in their lives.
