Driving to Rookwood Cemetery The easiest way of reaching the Jewish sections of Rookwood Cemetery is to enter by car via Centenary Drive. You can access Centenary Drive from any direction by turning: From the north off Homebush Bay Drive From the east and west off Parramatta Road or the Western Distributor From the south off Roberts Road or the Hume Highway / Liverpool Road. Part A. Via the Cross City Tunnel and Western Distributor to Parramatta Road

1. From the Sydney Chevra Kadisha drive east down Ocean Street towards Edgecliff OR 2. From elsewhere in the eastern suburbs access the Cross City Tunnel via New South Head Road

3. Turn left into New South Head Road at the intersection near the Edgecliff Centre

4. Travel west on New South Head Road and enter the Cross City Tunnel Stay in the lane on the right heading towards the Anzac Bridge (If you do not have an electronic tag, call (02) 9033 3999 within 24 hours to pay the toll)

5. Continue west on the Western Distributor over Darling Harbour and move to the second lane from the left while crossing the Anzac Bridge

6. From the Anzac Bridge drive south on the City West Link, taking the right lane This road becomes Dobroyd Parade and then Wattle Street

7. At the Hardware House tower turn right into Parramatta Road.

Part B. Parramatta Road to Rookwood Cemetery via the M4 Highway

8. Turn right from Parramatta Road on to the M4 Motorway and stay in the left lane

9. Turn left at the first exit from the M4 into Homebush Bay Drive

10. Turn left into Centenary Drive

11. For the entrance to Rookwood Cemetery, turn right off Centenary Drive into Weeroona Road at the second set of traffic lights

12. From the cemetery entrance, proceed up the hill to Hawthorne Avenue. Turn left at the roundabout. The JCT office is on the right
