RUSSIA: "Extremism" Charges for Possessing Muslim Books, Jehovah's Witness Community Ban Confirmed
FORUM 18 NEWS SERVICE, Oslo, Norway http://www.forum18.org/ The right to believe, to worship and witness The right to change one's belief or religion The right to join together and express one's belief 20 November 2014 RUSSIA: "Extremism" charges for possessing Muslim books, Jehovah's Witness community ban confirmed By Victoria Arnold, Forum 18 News Service The criminal trial of six Russian Muslims accused of "extremism" for alleged involvement in "Nurdzhular", an organisation which Muslims deny exists, began in Perm on 16 October, Forum 18 News Service has learnt. Two women facing the same charges in Krasnoyarsk will go on trial on 27 November, and another man in Rostov-on-Don is likely to be tried soon after. Four more people are soon to be brought to court on similar charges. Another Muslim from Perm, who reads the works of the late Turkish Muslim theologian Said Nursi, was given a suspended prison sentence in June. Also, the Jehovah's Witness community in Samara - forcibly liquidated on charges of "extremism" - has been unable to overturn the liquidation ruling on 12 November in the Supreme Court. In Taganrog a similar 2009 liquidation also upheld by the Supreme Court has been used to justify banning all Jehovah's Witness activity. Subsequently, seven Jehovah's Witnesses were found guilty of "extremism" in August 2014 for continuing to meet together for prayer and Bible study. The criminal trial of six men accused of "extremism" for alleged involvement in "Nurdzhular", an organisation which Muslims in Russia deny exists, began in the Urals city of Perm on 16 October, Forum 18 News Service has learnt. -
Diatomic Compounds in the Soils of Bee-Farm and Nearby Territories in Samarskaya Oblast
BIO Web of Conferences 27, 00036 (2020) https://doi.org/10.1051/bioconf/20202700036 FIES 2020 Diatomic compounds in the soils of bee-farm and nearby territories in Samarskaya oblast N.Ye. Zemskova1,*, A.I. Fazlutdinova2, V.N. Sattarov2 and L.M. Safiullinа2 1Samara State Agrarian University, Ust-Kinelskiy, Samarskaya oblast, 446442, Russia 2Bashkir State Pedagogical University n.a. M. Akmulla, Ufa, 450008, Russia Abstract. This article sheds light on the role diatomic algae in soils play in the assessment of bee farm and nearby territories in four soil and landscape zones in Samarskaya Oblast. The community of diatomic algae is characterized by low species diversity, of which 23 taxons were found. The most often found species are represented by Hantzschia amphioxys (Ehrenberg) Grunow in Cleve & Grunow and Luticola mutica (Kützing) D.G.Mann in Round et al. The maximum of phyla (18) were found in the buffer (transient) zone; in the wooded steppe zone, 11 species were recorded; in the steppe – 2 species, and in the dry steppe zone no species of diatomic algae were found. The qualitative and quantitative characteristics of diatomic algae communities in various biotopes depend on the natural and climate features of a territory and the degree of the anthropogenic impact on the soil and vegetation, which is proved by the fact that high species wealth signifies that the ecosystem is stable and resilient to the changing conditions in the environment, while poor algal flora is less resilient due to the lower degree of diversity. 1 Introduction Diatomic algae play a special role in habitats with extreme conditions [6, 7]. -

Automotive Industry in Russia: Impact of foreign investments in car assembly plants on suppliers’ entry 2 Automotive Industry in Russia: Impact of foreign investments in car assembly plants on suppliers’ entry Libor Krkoska and Alan Spencer Abstract In recent years, a number of leading international car manufacturers have established assembly facilities in Russia. The purpose of this paper is to assess how the entry of a large number of foreign car manufacturers can assist the emergence of a viable automotive industry in the Russian Federation, given their initially relatively small scale and focus on import substitution. The paper concludes that currently established or planned car assembly plants have already created a sufficient critical mass to encourage an entry of many types of component suppliers, despite limited production volumes of individual models, and a further expansion of the sector would enable the entry of even the most capital intensive investments in tooled components within a few years, provided the announced investment plans are implemented. The aim of the research is increasing the performance of the sowing unit disk-pin through the use of the activator expiration of seed from the hopper. The most important device of any seeder is the sowing device. He has to create uniform stream of seed material with the set parameters. When dosing seeds of cereal herbs ensuring compliance with this condition is extremely diffi- cult. The special sowing device is developed for dispensing of seeds of a meadow grass and mix of herbs which part they are. Feature of this device is existence of the activator of the expiration of seed material from the bunker providing steady filling with space seeds on the dosing disk that allows to receive high quality indicators of seeding. -
