DIRECTIONS/TRANSPORT Public Transportation from Stockholm From the Stockholm City Terminal there is a direct bus to the Scandic Infra City in the morning and returns in the afternoon to the Stockholm city terminal which takes 30 minutes. Bus 565X: From the Stockholm City Terminal to the Scandic Infra City: 07:40 08:00 From Scandic Infra City to Stockholm City Terminal: 16:38 17:08 17:24 Trains http://www.sl.se/en It is very easy to reach the Scandic Infra City from the new Stockholm City Terminal. Trains leave every 15 minutes from Stockholm Central Station to Upplands Väsby, then bus 10 (and many others) to the Scandic Infra City (bus stop near the hotel). The desk is located after you pass baggage claim and customs. There is also a 120 SEK supplement for passengers arriving by public transport to Arlanda airport. You pay this on arrival. At Bromma Airport, you can buy a 24-hour card at the only News Stand (under the sign “Billeter” “Tickets” at the right side of the arrival area, just before the exit.) With this in mind, we recommend that you use the services of well-known firms like Taxi Stockholm (https://www.taxistockholm.se/sv/), Taxi 020 (https://www.sverigetaxi.se/index) and Taxi Kurir (https://www.taxikurir.se/stockholm). Outside rush hours a taxi from the city centre to the hotel takes approximately 20 minutes (22 km) and costs approximately SEK 455. From Arlanda airport (18 km) to the hotel there is a fixed price of SEK 335 with Taxi Stockholm (https://www.taxistockholm.se/sv/). No fixed prices to Bromma. Credit cards are readily accepted. Parking There is a garage for 125 vehicles at the Scandic Infra City. Car space cannot be reserved in advance. SOCIAL EVENTS Monday 9 October Welcome Reception at Stockholm City Hall (open to all TechNet Europe participants) Address: Hantverkargatan 1 111 52 Stockholm The City of Stockholm has invited all participants of TechNet Europe 2017 to attend a buffet reception at the world renowned Stockholm City Hall on 9 October from 19:00 to 21:00. The City Hall is where the Nobel Prize Ceremonies take place. After the reception, a guide will inform guests about the history of the City Hall. Return bus transportation will be provided, leaving the Scandic Infra City at 18:00. Return buses will leave from the City Hall at 21:15. IMPORTANT: Please note that in order to attend the Reception you need to register by 28 September (via the online registration form). You will need to present your official invitation card upon entry at the City Hall. The invitation card will be given to you when you pick up your badge. If you have not yet registered for the conference and the City Hall reception by this date, we cannot guarantee you will be able to attend the reception. Tuesday 10 October Networking Reception in the Exhibition area from 18:20-20:00 (open to all TechNet Europe participants) (timing may vary depending of speaker programme that will be regularly updated on the event web site). AFCEAHACK From 9 – 11 October, in conjunction with TechNet Europe, the first-ever hackathon “AFCEAHack” will be organised. During the hackathon, young professionals and students working as developers and designers will come together to solve challenges created by some of the leading companies in the field of cybersecurity. More information on www.afceahack.com. ACCOMMODATION Participants are responsible for their own travel and accommodation arrangements and payment. Special rates have been obtained at the conference hotel (Scandic Infra City). Prices include buffet-style breakfast and WIFI.
