The beauty of my country - Warszawa – the capital city of Poland

It also has a border with: Sweden, Finland, Russia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Germany and Denmark. For tourists going to the seaside, I recommend visiting the lighthouse, eating fresh or smoked fish and taking a walk along the seashore to look for beautiful amber and shells. The Tatras are the highest mountains in Poland. They are located in the south of the country. The highest peak is Rysy. You can walk in the mountains and enjoy the beautiful views. Here you can wander the mountain trails, reach Giewont peak, see waterfalls e.g Siklawa Waterfall, visit the city of Zakopane. You can also eat traditional cheese - oscypek. It is made of salty sheep's milk. You can also go on a trip to Morskie Oko - a lake in the mountains, or take a cable car to Kasprowy Wierch. It is also worth visiting the Chochołowska Valley where beautiful purple crocuses bloom. They must not be picked because they are in danger of extinction. by Milena Palichleb The Sudetes

The Sudetes is a beautiful mountain range in the south western part of Poland, right at the border with the Czech Republic. A small part of it is in Germany, too. Many trails go to the highest peak. It is called Śnieżka. It is 1603 m high. On the Polish side there is a desc- shaped observatory with a weather station. During summer of 2020 it was still in renovation. In my opinion, the mountains are incredible. You can find waterfalls here, the Vikings’ and many fortresses from the World War II like Srebrna Góra and Kłodzko Fortress. by Izabela Pachoł Sandomierz This town is next to the Wisła River, on the left side. There is an industrial part on the right side called ,,Nadbrzeg”. In 2017 the majority of the buildings bacame historical monuments. The most beautiful place in Sandomierz is the market square. There is a gothic town hall here and the underground tourist route. You can go there with a tourist guide and learn a lot about the history of the town. You can visit The Royal Castle in the city. Wrocław is one of the most beautiful cities in Poland. It is a big city. It is in the south-east of Poland. The Wrocław market is one of the most famous places in the whole country. You can admire interesting and unique buildings. There is a lot of space for walks here. You can see: the gothic town hall, some gothic churches, for example: the cathedral of St. John the Baptist in Ostrów Tumski, the University of Wrocław with Aula Leopoldina, the Main Railway Station, the building Hala Ludowa. You can spend time going by boat. Five rivers flow through the city. There are about one hundred bridges in the city. When you are in Wrocław it is worth going to the Zoological Garden, whose biggest attraction is the Africarium. You can see animals that live in sea and oceans: sharks, rays, hippos, crocodiles and penguins. You can also see The Panorama of the Battle of Racławice. The painting presents a lot of important events in the history of our country. by Anna Jaremko Mazury Mazury is beautiful and interesting. It is in the north - east of Poland. There are about 2,600 lakes. The biggest lake in Poland is here - Śniardwy Lake. 1.5 million people live there and in Mazury there are eleven nature reserves. The most popular cities in Mazury are Mikołajki and Mrągowo. One of the interesting place in Mazury is the Castle in Nidzica. You can also visit The Boyen Fortress here.
