Everest Base Camp Itinerary

EVEREST BASE CAMP Mt. Everest, standing mightily at 8848m. The World’s highest and the ultimate Himalayan dream for many trekkers. This Everest trek allows more time for acclimatization and enables you not only to witness but also the 4th & 5th highest peaks: Lhote at 8516m, 8467m. See why this region is known as the Roof of the World as you pass through numerous charming villages, many with picturesque gompas that are spectacularly set amidst its mountainous surrounding. Before reaching the Everest Base camp, the trail follows the Glacier with huge ice pinnacles soaring to unbelievable heights. You then fly to and trek though the Dhuda Koshi valley through beautiful pine and rhododendron trees- the jagged, Ice & snow capped peaks of Thamseku 6623m & Kushum Kanguru 6369m, towering above. A steep climb then leads us to 3345m. This is where you will take your first break for acclimatization. Continuing on the trail to Thyanboche, those with a keen eye will be rewarded with sightings of musk deer, thar (Mountain goat), and Impeyan Pheasant. You will visit Thyangboche monastery, which is set among chortens adorned with player flags and mani walls- a constant remainder of the local Buddhist cultural. Complete you rtrek with views of Mt. Everest 8848m, 8516m, 6856m, Thamserku 6623m, and Kangtenga 6779m.

Trek Itinerary: Day 01. Arrival in and transfer to Hotel. Welcome dinner at Typical Nepali Restaurant.

Day 02. Free day preparation trek and sightseeing around the Kathmandu City.

Day 03. Kathmandu to Lukla (2,830 m.) to Phakding (2,652 m.): Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla and camp at Phakding (2,652 m.) approximately 3 hrs walking distance. The trail tops a small ridge and from where the trail descends to Suikhet (2,340 m.) and passes blows Lukla to Chauri Kharka. The fields that pass through support corps of Corn, potatoes, wheat and cabbage and the Sherpas here are generally better off than their friends above Namche. Overnight in Lodge.

Day 04. Phakding to Namche (3,446 m.): Approximately 5 hrs. Walking which is a beautiful day walking through magnificent Rhododendron, Magnolia and Fir forest. Several villages provide welcome teashops and views of the peaks increase and improve until finally reach Namche after a long pull up of a ridge. Namche is the main Sherpa village and have to rest on the afternoon to enjoy walking round the village. Overnight in Lodge.

Day 05. Rest at Namche Bazaar: This is rest day for acclimatization at Namche Bazaar. Overnight in Lodge.

Day 06. Namche Bazaar to Thyangboche (3867 m.): After breakfast, trek will lead to Phunki Tenga for Lunch. After lunch ascend another 2-hrs. and reach at Thyangboche and pay a visit to Monastery with the Sherpa Guide. Overnight in Lodge.

Day 07. Thyangboche to (4,410 m.): This walking day through Pangboche village where what is claimed to be Yeti’s scalp and the fingers of hand, kept in the Pangboche monastery then continuous climb to Dingboche. Overnight in Lodge.

Day 08. Dingboche- Chhukung Ri- Dingboche. Overnight in Lodge.

Day 09. Dingboche to Lobuche (4,930 m.): Already first part of the day climb a small ridge con tour to Thukla (4,600 m.) before climb the moraines of Lobuche with the best view of high mountain including Mt. Everest (Sagarmatha). Overnight in Lodge.

Day 10. Lobuche to Kala-Patthar (5,545 m.) to (5,151 m.): This trail gives a good view of . This section of the trek provides good views of the Everest Group from Gorakshep and . Overnight in Lodge.

Day 11. Gorakshep to Everest base Camp & back to Lobuche: Everest Base Camp is the main Camp for the Mountaineers situated at the elevation of 5,252 meters. Overnight in Lodge.

Day 12. Lobuche to Tyangboche. Over night in Lodge.

Day 13. Tyanboche to Namche Bazaar. Over night in Lodge.

Day 14. Namche Bazaar to Phakding. Over night in Lodge.

Day 15. Trek to Lukla and Check in Hotel. Over night in Lodge.

Day 16. Lukla to Kathmandu by flight. Over night in Lodge

Day 17. Free day in Kathmandu and Visit around the Kathmandu City.

Day 18. Final departure What is covered by your guide service: 1. All the ground transportation by private tourist vehicle as listed in the program. 2.
