June will be celebrated for elderly or ill parishioners, whose names will be published next Sunday, should you wish to include a parishioner you 1 believe deserves to be included please print his/her name in block capital letters on a clean sheet of white paper and hand it into the office, all names to be vetted by Fr. CONFIRMATION. Nineteen (19) of our young parishioners will be confirmed by Bishop Paul Hendricks next Sunday 30th. May at the 11am mass. Please offer up your prayers that the Holy Spirit will descend on them and guide them throughout their lives. We regret that only nominated family members will be allowed to attend.

Safety procedures while attending St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. • Parishioners who wish to attend masses/services must register with the parish secretary, Fergus Keogh, on 07970157922 and by completing a form available at the entrance on your arrival, and renewed every 4 weeks, but please in the first instance, call the number and register the mass you will be attending. Always sanitise your hands before entering and leaving the church. • All over the aged 11 and all adults MUST wear face masks. • The number of parishioners permitted to attend services will be 22, this will vary as we apply allowances laid down by the government. • Parking will be restricted at weekends to disabled drivers, those who drive disabled parishioners and parents with very young children who have prebooked the services. At all times subject to availability • All toilet facilities will be closed, if you believe you have a valid reason why you should be allowed access speak to the parish priest or secretary, you will be expected to thoroughly clean the toilet after use. • Safety signs must be adhered to for the benefit of all attending St. Josephs. • The church adheres to TRACK and TRACE and expects its parishioners to also do so. • To avoid delays at the exit area please have your donations to the church collections ready and place them in the basket, delays in this area cause problems with social distancing.

We are considering reducing the social distance from 2 metres to 1metre enabling us to allow more parishioners to attend our services. While you will notice some changes being tried over the coming 2 weeks we look to introduce new measures commencing Saturday 5th. June at the 6pm mass. Please follow the safety instructions which will be displayed throughout the church including the car park. Any helpful comments will be gratefully received by the parish priest or secretary.

When we are aware of changes being introduced by the government until we receive clear instructions from the Council of Bishops of England and Wales we will proceed with caution. WE ASSURE OUR PARISHIONERS THAT WE PUT THEIR SAFETY FIRST AND ALL CHANGES WILL BE REVIEWED REGULARLY. 2 3
