Administrative/Biographical History

The General Assembly established the Tennessee Entertainment Commission in 1979. The Commission works to attract film, television, music, and other entertainment producers to the state, while assisting the current entertainment industry cluster within Tennessee. The Commission is under the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.
