THANKS, ADAM 3/14/07 Hi Adam, I finally had the chance to read "Elvis & Me by Priscilla and thought I'd share a little info with you. As I read the book, I really find it hard to believe that Priscilla would put some of the information she has in the book if Elvis was alive. There is quite a bit of their intimacy moments in the book and knowing what I've read about the two of them, it's hard to believe Priscilla even sharing this information. All I know is that I have very mixed feelings about the whole Elvis thing. Is it a money gimmick and/or just to keep Elvis and themselves in the limelight light. I do know that people are out to make a buck off of him. Some of those addresses on People Search are phony and they shouldn't be allowed to rip people off by using his middle initial and date of birth. It's mind boggling to say the least. Hope you can shed some light in your documentary. Hope all is well in you neck of the woods. Everything is good in Knoxville. Has there ever been any discussion by the family around exhuming Elvis' body to possibly stop all of this madness? The reason I ask is that there is so much skepticism around this issue that it seems to me they would want it to stop. If in fact there is truth about Elvis' spirit at Graceland (which I felt something when I was there) and if it is truth to the documentary I saw previously about how the fans wouldn't let Elvis' die, then to me that would end all questions, and would allow Elvis' soul to finally rest. I don't believe they would have to worry about making money. They will always make money off of Elvis. Just like they say, Elvis is worth more money dead than alive. Then again, maybe they know more than we're being told and if they were to exhume his body, we would find out more than what they want us to know. I really don't think it would matter to the fans. If he is still alive, he would automatically be forgiven by his fans no questions asked. Mary 3/1/07 Dear adam and ELVIS fans,i have been doing some research on the home alone film.something kept on bothering me about that airport scean.it was the lady with him in the scean.she looked so familier.Well i knew what i was thinking,all i needed was a picture to compare her to.At christmas time i recieved two new ELVIS books,and i found what i was looking for.A picture of ginger alden.And she looks like the lady with thebearded ELVIS in home alone.shorter hair,dark brown like his is in the movie.but the face is the same,or resembles her alot only older as she would be,but younger then him.I do not know how much younger she was at the time they dated,but i do know she was younger alot younger.Elvis would have been about 53 when this came out.my guess is she would be in her late thirties or about 40 or so.i believe she may have been in her 20's when they dated.they had only been together a short while so she may have been in on it all,most likely she was in on it,and may have still been together when this movie was done.it came out about 88,was probly filmed in 87.he seems to come out about every 10 years as an extra.so he is due again.he came out again in 98 in finding graceland.which was probly filmed in 97.interesting isn't it.Well its the 30th this year,HUM?Also elvises favorite time of year was christmas,in the movie it was christmas.in finding graceland it was the candellite vid.Also in that scean you will notice that lady for a moment comes up to the desk and you can see the paper or ticket brosure and on its back facing the camera you see where they may be going has palm trees,posibly hawaii? anyway it's an island area.And the cameidien john cand makes a reference to a polka [king] and how they had hits a long time ago,and in the 70's.HUM?might be nothing all of this but could be something too.anyway if anyone is interested just get a picture of ginger alden and compare ,if that is her,that makes the bearded elvis even

Now, since he hated to fly, he and his retinue of friends and assistants were forced to drive almost nonstop across the nation to be on the West Coast in time to begin production of his latest film. Several years of trite scripts and lackluster soundtrack albums had stripped Elvis of any enthusiasm for starting a new movie. He was embarrassed by the mediocre quality of the films the Colonel kept committing him to make, and he was disenchanted with the Hollywood lifestyle. But as he headed west, that was not the worst of what was troubling him. He found himself in the depths of a spiritual crisis. Twelve hours earlier, during another turn in the driver’s seat, his mental anguish had reached a tipping point. Approaching Amarillo in the early morning, with no word to the others, he abruptly pulled off the highway into a motel parking lot.

Brown, Advisor Between 1984 and 1991, heavy metal became one of the most publicly popular and commercially successful rock music subgenres. The focus of this dissertation is to explore the following research questions: How did the subculture of heavy metal music between 1984 and 1991 evolve and what meanings can be derived from this ongoing process? How did the contextual circumstances surrounding heavy metal music during this period impact the performative choices exhibited by artists, and from a position of retrospection, what lasting significance does this particular era of heavy metal merit today? A textual analysis of metal- related materials fostered the development of themes relating to the selective choices made and performances enacted by metal artists. These themes were then considered in terms of gender, sexuality, race, and age constructions as well as the ongoing negotiations of the metal artist within multiple performative realms. Occurring at the juncture of art and commerce, heavy metal music is a purposeful construction. Metal musicians made performative choices for serving particular aims, be it fame, wealth, or art. These same individuals worked within a greater system of influence. Metal bands were the contracted employees of record labels whose own corporate aims needed to be recognized.

    IN DEFENSE OF CYBERTERRORISM: AN ARGUMENT FOR ANTICIPATING CYBER-ATTACKS Susan W. Brenner Marc D. Goodman The September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on the United States brought the notion of terrorism as a clear and present danger into the consciousness of the American people. In order to predict what might follow these shocking attacks, it is necessary to examine the ideologies and motives of their perpetrators, and the methodologies that terrorists utilize. The focus of this article is on how Al-Qa'ida and other Islamic fundamentalist groups can use cyberspace and technology to continue to wage war againstthe United States, its allies and its foreign interests. Contending that cyberspace will become an increasingly essential terrorist tool, the author examines four key issues surrounding cyberterrorism. The first is a survey of conventional methods of "physical" terrorism, and their inherent shortcomings. Next, a discussion of cyberspace reveals its potential advantages as a secure, borderless, anonymous, and structured delivery method for terrorism. Third, the author offers several cyberterrorism scenarios. Relating several examples of both actual and potential syntactic and semantic attacks, instigated individually or in combination, the author conveys their damagingpolitical and economic impact. Finally, the author addresses the inevitable inquiry into why cyberspace has not been used to its full potential by would-be terrorists. Separately considering foreign and domestic terrorists, it becomes evident that the aims of terrorists must shift from the gross infliction of panic, death and destruction to the crippling of key information systems before cyberattacks will take precedence over physical attacks. However, given that terrorist groups such as Al Qa'ida are highly intelligent, well-funded, and globally coordinated, the possibility of attacks via cyberspace should make America increasingly vigilant.

What we normally see is a lot of speculation about the alleged shooting in December of 1980. Many discrepancies have indeed been found, but I will not repeat them (except for a couple in my endnotes). I find more recent photographic evidence to be far easier and quicker to compile—and more convincing at a glance, as it were—so that is what I will show you here. All this evidence is based on research I did myself. I am not repeating the work of anyone else and I take full responsibility for everything here. If it appeals to you, great. If not, feel free to dismiss it. That is completely up to you, and if you don't agree, fine. When I say “proof” in my title, I mean it is proof enough for me. I no longer have a reasonable doubt. This paper wouldn't have been possible if John had stayed well hidden, but as it turns out he still likes to play in public. Being a bit of an actor, and always being confident is his ability to manipulate the public, John decided to just do what he wanted to do, covering it just enough to fool most people. This he has done, but he hasn't fooled me. The biggest clues come from a little indie film from Toronto about Lennon called Let Him Be,* released in 2009, with clips still up on youtube as of 2014.
