húb 1 Biológia a ekológia húb 1.1 Miesto húb medzi organizmami na Zemi Pod skupinou organizmov, ktorú nazývame „huby“ myslíme tú skupinu organiz- mov, ktoré zaraďujeme do ríše húb – Fungi. K hubám je v širšom chápaní priraďo- vaných aj niekoľko ďalších skupín organizmov, ktoré sa už dnes často systematicky zaraďujú do skupiny Protista ríše Protozoa a ríše Chromista. Do samostatnej ríše Fungi sú začlenené oddelenia Chytridiomycota a Eumycota – tzv. pravé huby. Takéto širšie chápanie termínu huba používa aj vedná disciplína, ktorá sa zaoberá štúdiom týchto organizmov – mykológia. Celá táto dosť heterogénna skupina organizmov rôz- neho vzhľadu má spoločné to, že sa jedná o eukaryotické, heterotrofné stielkaté organizmy (Váňa, 1996). V minulosti sa huby zaraďovali medzi rastliny a často sa ešte aj dnes vyučujú ako súčasť botaniky. Neskôr s pribúdaním poznatkov o hubách a relatívne rýchlym rozvojom mykológie v druhej polovici 19. storočia, sa považovali za akýsi prechod medzi rastlinami a živočíchmi. V súčasnosti sa však huby považujú za samostatnú ríšu a s rastlinami majú spoločné len to, že vznikli súčasne s nimi a teda skôr ako živočíchy. Keďže nemajú asimilačné pigmenty, sú odkázané na heterotrofný spôsob výživy. Pre svoj život teda, na rozdiel od rastlín, nepotrebujú ani slnečnú energiu a do ovzdu- šia nevylučujú ako pri fotosyntéze kyslík, ale uhlík, ktorý vzniká pri rozklade organic- kých látok v podobe oxidu uhličitého. Produktom metabolizmu je u húb, tak ako u živočíchov, polysacharid glykogén. V bunkách húb, tak ako v živočíšnych bunkách, sa nachádzajú lyzozómy, ktoré v rast- linných bunkách chýbajú. Hlavným stavebným materiálom všetkých živých organizmov sú bielkoviny, ktoré sú zložené z aminokyselín. Kvalita bielkovín nie je vždy rovnaká a rastlinným bielkovinám mnohé esenciálne aminokyseliny chýbajú a teda nie sú plnohodnotné. Bielkoviny húb obsahujú všetky esenciálne aminokyseliny nevyhnutné na stavbu bielkovín ľudského tela a sú teda rovnako hodnotné, ako bielkoviny živočíšneho pôvodu. Hnilobným rozkladom živočíšnych bielkovín vznikajú tzv. ptomaíny. Sú to mŕtvolné jedy a vyskytujú sa tiež v rozkladných produktoch hubových bielkovín (Škubla, 1989). Jedy obsiahnuté v rastlinách a hubách taktiež nemajú rovnaký pôvod. Toxické látky jedovatých húb sú podobné hadím jedom a sú to spravidla veľmi účinné bielko- vinové jedy. Pre jedovaté rastliny v tomto prípade sú porovnateľné alkaloidy. V literatúre sa uvádza viacero ďalších znakov, ktoré odlišujú huby od rias, či rastlín. Nemusia však vždy platiť absolútne pre všetky huby. Oxya (central Greece) fir forests, a total of 358 taxa of macromycetes, belonging in 149 genera, have been recorded. Ninety eight taxa constitute new records, and five of them are first reports for the respective genera (Athelopsis, Crustoderma, Lentaria, Protodontia, Urnula). One hundred and one records for habitat/host/substrate are new for Greece, while some of these associations are reported for the first time in literature. Key words — biodiversity, macromycetes, fir, Mediterranean region, mushrooms Introduction The mycobiota of Greece was until recently poorly investigated since very few mycologists were active in the fields of fungal biodiversity, taxonomy and systematic. Until the end of ’90s, less than 1.000 species of macromycetes occurring in Greece had been reported by Greek and foreign researchers. Practically no collaboration existed between the scientific community and the rather few amateurs, who were active in this domain, and thus useful information that could be accumulated remained unexploited. Until then, published data were fragmentary in spatial, temporal and ecological terms. The authors introduced a different concept in their methodology, which was based on a long-term investigation of selected ecosystems and monitoring-inventorying of macrofungi throughout the year and for a period of usually 5-8 years.

Arbejdet star- tede tilbage i 1983, da Thomas Læssøe under sit specialestudium ved Aarhus Universitet og Bota- nisk Museum (Københavns Universitet) tilbragte seks måneder med feltarbejde ved Amazonas-bi- floden Río Napo i det østlige Ecuador. Abstract: A compilation study has been made of the mycorrhizal Agaricomycetes from several sclerophyllous and deciduous Mediterranean Quercus woodlands from Iberian Peninsula. Firstly, we selected eight Mediterranean taxa of the genus Quercus, which were well sampled in terms of macrofungi. Afterwards, we performed a database containing a large amount of data about mycorrhizal biota of Quercus. We have defined and/or used a series of indexes (occurrence, affinity, proportionality, heterogeneity, similarity, and taxonomic diversity) in order to establish the differences between the mycorrhizal biota of the selected woodlands. The 605 taxa compiled here represent an important amount of the total mycorrhizal diversity from all the vegetation types of the studied area, estimated at 1,500–1,600 taxa, with Q. ilex subsp. ballota (416 taxa) and Q. suber (411) being the richest. We also analysed their quantitative and qualitative mycorrhizal flora and their relative richness in different ways: woodland types, substrates and species composition. The results highlight the large amount of mycorrhizal macrofungi species occurring in these mediterranean Quercus woodlands, the data are comparable with other woodland types, thought to be the richest forest types in the world.

The combined analyses of ITS and variable regions of RPB1 and RPB2 greatly increase the resolution and nodal support for phylogenies of these closely related species belonging to clades that until now have proven very diYcult to resolve with the ribosomal markers, nLSU and ITS. We present the Wrst study of the utility of variable regions of the genes encoding the two largest subunits of RNA polymerase II (RPB1 and RPB2) for inferring the phylogeny of mushroom-forming fungi in combination with and compared to the widely used ribosomal marker ITS. The studied region of RPB1 contains an intron of the size and variability of ITS along with many variable positions in coding regions. Though almost entirely coding, the studied region of RPB2 is more variable than ITS. Both RNA polymerase II genes were alignable across all taxa. Our results indicate that several sec- tions of Cortinarius need redeWnition, and that several taxa treated at subspeciWc and varietal level should be treated at speciWc level.
