Camp Kawartha is an innova ve camp and environmental learning centre, dedicated to fostering stewardship in the Greater Peterborough region and throughout Ontario. Camp Kawartha has been in opera on since 1921 and we’ve been a not-for-profi t charity since 1985. Over the past 10 years, the Camp has earned 19 awards for its work in promo ng outdoor and environmental learning. Reaching over 17,000 par cipants per year, Camp Kawartha operates as a summer camp, an outdoor educa on and environment centre, provides training in environmental educa on and workshops on nature connec on and sustainability. Camp Kawartha is striving to become a na onally recognized Environmental Educa on Leadership Centre. Summer Camp Outdoor Educa on We off er over 60 curriculum-linked programs to Provides magical overnight camping experiences students from for children ages 4 to 17, we teach children skills to Kindergarten to grade twelve.
