The objective of this paper is to present the findings from full-scale ship collision, grounding, flooding, capsizing, and sinking simulations of marine accidents, and to demonstrate the feasibility of the scientific investigation of marine accident causes and for the systematic reproduction of accident damage procedure. © 2017 Published by Elsevier Ltd.
