Changes authorized in our By-Laws and Code by The Grand Lodge of F. &A. M. of Ohio at its 2071h Annual Communication held on October 14 and 15, 2016, necessitated the printing of certain pages which should be inserted as follows:
Replace pages 33 and 34.
The revised Code Section 6.01 increases the annual per capita from $15.00 to $17.20 ($15.00 to the Grand Lodge of Ohio and $2.20 to the Ohio Masonic Home).
Replace pages 103 and 104, 105 and 106.
The revised Code Section 34.01(c) makes it permissible to use Masonic emblems in Masonic printed publications to distinguish businesses owned by or connected with a Master Mason.
The revised Code Section 34.01 (f) has been removed in its entirety which makes it permissible for a Mason to own an unauthorized ritual.
The revised Code Section 34.02 (b) and (c) now makes it permissible for a Lodge or Temple Company, under strict provisions and with the approval of the Grand Master, to rent its undedicated areas of the building for a special event where alcohol may be served.

Replace pages 98a and 98b The revised By-Law Section 29.06 (d) authorizes the Grand Lodge Investment Committee oversight of the Endowed Membership Fund. It also stipulates that the annual Endowed Membership payout will not exceed 5% of the fund balance.
Replace pages 98c and 98d The revised By-Law Section 29.06 (0 permits the holder of an endowed membership to transfer his endowment to another Ohio Lodge when in the event of a Lodge merger his Lodge is not the surviving Lodge.

D. Palmer, A. D. Bigelow, M. Z. Kreider, Sam'l Reed, William P. Strickland, Geo. P. (W.) Claspill, John W. Milligan, J. S. Burr, and George Johnson, the present officers of The Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of Ohio, and their successors in office, be, and hereby are, incorporated by the name of The Grand Lodge of Ohio, and by which name they shall be capable of suing and being sued, pleading and being impleaded, in all courts, the same as natural persons; and with power to hold and convey real and personal property, and to do any and all other things usually done by corporations, and subject to the act now in force, entitled, An Act Instituting Proceedings Against Corporations not Possessing Banking Powers and Visitorial Powers of Courts, and to Provide for the Regulation of Corporations Generally, passed March 7, 1842. 6 Constitution
PREAMBLE
WHEREAS, every Grand Lodge possesses the inherent power to form a Constitution, as the fundamental law of its Masonic action; and to enact such By- laws from time to time, as it may deem necessary for its own government; and to make such rules and prescribe such regulations for the government of its subordinate Lodges, as will insure their prosperity, and promote the general good of Masonry, and WHERAS, every Grand Lodge is the true representative of all the Fraternity in communication therewith, and is in that behalf an absolute and independent Body, with supreme legislative authority — provided always, that the ancient landmarks of the Order be held inviolate — therefore, upon these principles, which have never been disputed, THE GRAND LODGE OF FREE AND ACCEPTED MASONS OF OHIO does hereby ordain, establish and promulgate the following CONSTITUTION for its future government.

The Grand Lodge shall consist of a Grand Master, Deputy Grand Master, Senior Grand Warden, Junior Grand Warden, Grand Treasurer, Grand Secretary, Grand Chaplain, Grand Orator, Grand Marshal, Senior Grand Deacon, Junior Grand Deacon and Grand Tyler; with any other officers designated by the Grand Lodge as members thereof, together with the Masters and Wardens of the chartered Lodges under its jurisdiction, the District Deputy Grand Masters during their term of office; and such Past Grand Masters and Past District Deputy Grand Masters as are members of a Subordinate Lodge.

PREAMBLE
WHEREAS, every Grand Lodge possesses the inherent power to form a Constitution, as the fundamental law of its Masonic action; and to enact such By- laws from time to time, as it may deem necessary for its own government; and to make such rules and prescribe such regulations for the government of its subordinate Lodges, as will insure their prosperity, and promote the general good of Masonry, and WHERAS, every Grand Lodge is the true representative of all the Fraternity in communication therewith, and is in that behalf an absolute and independent Body, with supreme legislative authority — provided always, that the ancient landmarks of the Order be held inviolate — therefore, upon these principles, which have never been disputed, THE GRAND LODGE OF FREE AND ACCEPTED MASONS OF OHIO does hereby ordain, establish and promulgate the following CONSTITUTION for its future government.

At each stated Communication of the Grand Lodge there shall be elected by ballot from among the Brethren who are at the time constitutionally eligible, a Grand Master, a Deputy Grand Master, a Senior Grand Warden, a Junior Grand Warden, a Grand Treasurer, and a Grand Secretary; all other Grand Officers shall be appointed by the Grand Master.

ARTICLE VIII
It shall be the duty of the Most Worshipful Grand Master to see that the Ancient Charges, Constitution, By-laws and Code are strictly enforced and to countenance no deviation therefrom. He shall have the right to convene the Grand Lodge in special Grand Communication on any emergency which in his judgment may require it. He shall have authority in the interval between Communications of the Grand Lodge to grant such dispensations or proxies as may be necessary to enable a Lodge to continue its work. He has the power at his discretion to assemble any Subordinate Lodge, demand admission and preside therein, inspect its work, and require a strict conformity to the regulations and rules of Masonry. For good cause he may suspend the functions of any such Lodge until the ensuing stated Communication of the Grand Lodge. He has the command of the other Grand Officers touching the duties of their several offices. He may call on any and all of them at any time for advice and assistance on all business relative to the Craft. He may appoint and commission representatives to and receive and accredit representatives from other Grand Lodges to The Grand—Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of Ohio. ARTICLE IX
In the case of the death, absence or disability of the Grand Master, the powers and duties of his office shall, for the time being, devolve upon the Deputy Grand Master, Senior Grand Warden, or Junior Grand Warden in the order here enumerated. Hist. ref.: ARTICLE X
The Grand Lodge in annual Communication, or the Grand Master during the recess of the Grand Lodge, shall have power to grant dispensations for the institution of new Lodges in the manner prescribed in the By-laws. Hist. ref.: ARTICLE XI
(a) The Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of Ohio is the only sovereign and independent body of Masons existing within this Grand Jurisdiction. It has original and exclusive jurisdiction over all subjects of Masonic legislation, and appellate jurisdiction from the decisions of the Subordinate Lodges. Its constitution, deci- sions, edicts, laws, mandates, regulations and rules shall be the supreme Masonic law of the State and shall be binding upon all Master Masons in this Jurisdiction.
