Z jednej strony kibice Atlético Madryt liczyli na to, że uda się odnieść kolejne zwycięstwo i utrzymać status quo w La Liga przed przerwą na mecze reprezentacji. Z drugiej jednak było wiadomo, że w wyjściowym składzie zabraknie kilku kluczowych zawodników. Ostatecznie Rojiblancos zaliczyli chyba najgorsze spotkanie w tym sezonie, a remis na El Madrigal trzeba uznać za naprawdę dobry wynik. Żółte Łodzie Podwodne potwierdziły, że są poważnymi kandydatami do walki o Ligę Mistrzów i niewiele zabrakło im do tego, by ograć podopiecznych Diego Simeone. Paradoksalnie wczorajsze starcie zaczęło się znakomicie dla Atlético Madryt. Z prawej strony w pole karne rywali dośrodkował Juanfran. Piłka miała najprawdopodobniej trafić do Koke, jednak wychowanka Rojiblancos uprzedził Mario Gaspar. Obrońca Villarreal interweniował jednak na tyle niefortunnie, że skierował futbolówkę do własnej bramki, kompletnie zaskakując stojącego w niej Sergio Asenjo. Później było już jednak tylko gorzej. Gospodarze nie zamierzali się poddawać i niemal natychmiast ruszyli do odrabiania strat. Po raz pierwszy w polu karnym Los Colchoneros zagotowało się po akcji Hernána Péreza. Paragwajczyk znakomicie poszedł prawą flanką, po czym zagrał wszerz 'szesnastki' do Caniego. Na szczęście pomocnik Żółtych Łodzi Podwodnych uderzył z siedmiu metrów obok bramki. Kolejnym zagrożeniem był rzut wolny wykonywany przez Bruno Soriano, po którym efektowną paradą popisał się Thibaut Courtois. Przed przerwą niezłym strzałem z szesnastu metrów popisał się Tomás Pina. Na szczęście piłka przeleciała obok słupka. Z kolei Rojiblancos mogli się pochwalić tylko i wyłącznie słabym uderzeniem z dystansu Davida Villi, przy którym najmniejszych kłopotów nie miał Sergio Asenjo. -

Release list of up to 30 players Each association’s release list of up to 30 players was received by 11 May 2010 as per article 26 of the Regulations for the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™. Mandatory rest period for players on the release list is from 17-23 May 2010 (except players involved in the UEFA Champions League final on 22 May). Each association must send FIFA a final list of no more than 23 players by 24.00 CET on 1 June 2010. Final list is limited to players on the release list submitted on 11 May 2010. Final list of 23 players will be published on FIFA.com at 12.00 CET on 4 June. Injured players may be replaced up to 24 hours before a team’s first match. Replacement players are not limited to the release list of up to 30 players. iI HISTORY: Abia State Nigeria was carved out of old Imo State on August 27, 1991 with Umuahia as its capital. The State is made up of seventeen (17) Local Government Areas. It is one of the five states in the Southeast geopolitical zone of Nigeria. The name ABIA was coined from the first letters of the names of the geo-political groups that originally made up the State, namely: Aba, Bende, Isuikwuato and Afikpo. Today, Afikpo is in Ebonyi State that was created in October, 1996. GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION AND CLIMATE: Abia State is situated between latitudes 04°45' and 06° 07f north and longitudes 07° 00' and 08° IO1 east. Imo, Anambra and Rivers border it in the west, northwest and southwest respectively. AN INVESTMENT HAVEN GUIDE TO INVESTMENT IN ABIA STATE To the north, northeast, east and southeast, it is bordered by Enugu, Ebonyi, Cross-River an Akwa Ibom States respectively. It belongs to the Southeast geopolitical zone of Nigeria and covers a landmass of 5,833.77 sq. km. The State is located within the forest belt of Nigeria with a temperature range of between 20°C -36°C lying within the tropics. It has the dry and rainy seasons - (October - March and April September respectively). POPULATION: By the projection of the National Bureau of Statistics, based on the 1991 census figure of I. million, Abia State was expected to have a population of 3.51 million. In 2006 the National Population Commission allocated 2,833,999 as the population of Abia State. This figure is being contested at the population tribunal. -
