The Mercer Casa Torner i Güell is a small four-star hotel in the historic centre of Vilafranca del Penedès in a Catalan Art Nouveau building dating from 1884. An architectural work of eclectic style in which Modernist aspects predominate. It was one of the first houses built with exposed brick, ceramic on the façade and wrought iron on the balconies, three characteristics of local Modernist architecture.
