This New Age mysticism comes from the Emerging Church Movement by means of counterfeit magical beliefs by various groups having no CONTEMPLATIVE PRAYER relationship with Christianity. Both movements are extremely seductive and promote a spirituality which corrupt believers from the simplicity found in Christ by weaving New Age/Occult precepts and practices into the very fabric of their lives and faith. Contemplative prayer is, by far, the main practice promoted by the Spiritual Directors who lead church members onto the slippery slopes of spiritual formation. It is also called soaking or centering prayer. The terms spiritual formation and contemplative prayer are practically synonymous. DARK AGES The most widely accepted and pervasive of the two movements within the evangelical church is the Spiritual Formation movement. Pentecostals, Charismatic’s, and non- Pentecostals alike are being influenced, through almost identical Spiritual Formation programs that promote this unbiblical form of prayer. Contemplative prayer is actually not prayer at all, but rather a “Christianized” form of unbiblical, eastern meditation. Most of us know it by the name, transcendental meditation (TM). It is rightly associated with Hinduism and New Age Spirituality http://www.scribd.com/doc/495757/Apostles-Prophets-and-the-Coming-NEW- AGE This movement is being compared to the Dark Ages which is a term referring to the cultural decline that took place in Western Europe following the Decline of the Roman Empire. Witchcraft was a powerful force during this era. The New Age ideas are people who are returning to the mystical practices of Dark Ages. They are engaged widely infiltrating Christian Churches bringing powerful Doctrines of Devils to undermine the Christian Churches from within. http://www.miracleinternetchurch.com Page 2 1 Timothy 4:1-3, “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; 3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.” KJV The Dark Ages experienced a great rise in witchcraft practices. UNDERSTANDING MIKE BICKLE’S NEW FAITH IN PAGANISTIC PRAYER Contemplative prayer is not easy to understand if you are a Bible Believing Christian. It is comparable of attempting to understand something written in a strange language. There are many new terminologies such as: centering prayer; centering down; the discipline of the secret; contemplative spirituality; celebrating the darkness; mineralization; the Mineral Man; practicing the presence; the interior life; intimacy with Abba; the uncloistered contemplative life; inner integration; yielding to the Center; the bridge of faith; notional knowledge; contemporary spiritual masters; masters of the interior life; shadow self; false self; mysterium tremendum; existential experience and the Abba experience. ESOTERIC MYSTICISM – HYPNOSIS – SATANIC MUSIC CONTEMPORY PRAYERS Soaking prayer ~satanic music; can refer to meditation with live music; repetitive chanting; breathing in a controlled manner or silent concentration to quiet the thoughts; feelings and commune with God; infused contemplation; acquired contemplation and "Prayer of Simplicity". "What is soaking prayer?" Since the 1990s there has been an increased focus on mysticism within various divisions of Christianity. The esoteric of these mystical experiences expands the division between a "trusting faith" and a "flesh felt faith," and replacing sound biblical teaching with sensational, emotional, motivated response. 1 1 Pat Holliday, http://www.miracleinternetchurch.com http://www.miracleinternetchurch.com Page 3 Soaking prayer is one of spiritual, mystical movement. It is explained as resting in God's presence. This is accomplished by playing some gentle worship songs, either sitting or lying down, and praying short, simplistic prayers for an extended period of time, but otherwise keeping your mind free of other thoughts. This is the recipe of every hypnotist, first empty your minds and then a demonic presence will fill it. At the point when you feel God's presence through a of manifestation like tingling skin, a sensation of heat or cold, or even a gentle wind seemingly blowing through your body, then you just soak" in an unidentified presence. Forget the biblical challenge to “Test the spirits.” When soaking prayer is examined accordingly, we find that it comes up wanting for biblical support for inviting God’s presence but one can find these techniques in occult activity. Nowhere in the Bible can a model of prayer be found that soaking prayer 2 follows. It is hard to believe that people have left the foundations of the wonderful gospel of Jesus Christ to fall into such darkness of falling into mysticism of the Dark Ages. Look at what they have willingly left. When a person leaves the presence of Jesus and His Word, they will fall into great darkness. 2 Timothy 2:19, --“Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let everyone that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.” KJV JOINING THE LIGHT "And they took knowledge of them that they had been with Jesus." Acts 4:13 Charles Spurgeon wrote as a man who personally knew Jesus. “A Christian should be a striking likeness of Jesus Christ. You have read lives of Christ, beautifully and eloquently written, but the best life of Christ is His living biography, written out in the words and actions of His people. Many so-called Christian leaders have lost the old pathway back to God and being leading back to the Dark Ages simply by calling the new occulted pathways the New Age. They will be left behind by practicing their spiritual ignorance and ignoring the Word of God seeking after words of blinded wizards and witches. The most destructive counterforce that both individuals and communities face with is wizardry. All forms of human life are saturated with wizardry putting up opposition against your intentions mostly at points where you would seek help and solution.

First, I locate my theoretical position within the long and diverse history of inquiry about the future. Next, I suggest that what is considered utopian and what are considered real futures probabilities or possibilities are in fact social, cultural and historical constructions. This notion is developed through a genealogical gloss of current utopian discourses wherein I trace the movement from a singular notion of ‗utopia‘ to dystopia as well as heterotopias and eutopias. Oh yes, then there is an array of seasonal entertainment. The "haunted house" is easy enough to spot. You'll be able to find it by the long line and the strange sounds coming out of the old mansion. Likely you will find a group of kids talking about what they've just seen inside...the bloody body in the bathtub, the axe wielding maniac that chased them, the monster that jumped out swinging at them with a chain saw, the body hanging by the neck in the closet, and the refrigerator in the kitchen filled with bloody body parts.
