The kit supports Ethernet, Cheapernet and Starlan networks as described in the IEEE 602.3 standard. All required documentation has been provided inside this binder. including the circuit diagram. The IEEE 802.3 Standard for Ethernet/Cheapernet and Starlan has become the most popular networking solution. The chipset consists of the OP8390 Network Interface Controller (NIC), the DP8391 Serial Network Interface (SNI) and the OP8392 Coaxial Transceiver Interface (CTI).
