Bahan ajar ini dibuat untuk bisa diakses oleh siswa memlalui platform yang paling sederhana yaitu Whatshap Group (WAG). Hal tersebut dikarenakan sulitnya siswa untuk mengakses platform lain yang lebih canggih karena kondisi jaringan yang tidak mendukung. Bahan ajar yang dibuat ini bisa dikirimkan ke siswa berupa file melalui WAG yang selanjutnya bisa dipelajari di rumah masing-masing. Aplikasi ini ditujukan kepada anak-anak tingkat Sekolah Dasar dan tidak menutup kemungkinan untuk masyarakat Bali terutama generasi muda. Aplikasi ini dapat memberikan pembelajaran mengenai pembuatan ketupat, kegunaan ketupat dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Tujuan dari pembuatan aplikasi ini adalah untuk mengajarkan kepada generasi muda tentang pembuatan ketupat agar nantinya tradisi membuat ketupat tidak punah. Manfaat dari aplikasi ini adalah sebagai alat bantu mengajar secara interaktif dan mandiri untuk anak-anak tingkat Sekolah Dasar dan masyarakat Bali terutama generasi muda, karena pembelajaran ini sudah dilengkapi dengan langkah-langkah yang terstruktur dan dilengkapi dengan evaluasi pertanyaan tentang ketupat sehingga pengguna bisa mengetahui sejauh mana kemampuan mereka.
