Enzo Ferrari Ende Der 1930Er Jahre Selbstständig Machen Wollte, Suchte Er Einen Kreditgeber

ROME -- The Italian component of Fiat-Chrysler [2] cars was already in crisis when Sergio Marchionne, 66, was in a university hospital in Zurich, Switzerland, on June 28, supposedly for an operation on his shoulder. But then Marchionne took a "sudden and sharp" turn for the worse, and is now unconscious on life-support; some here whisper the real cause is cancer, but no official statement has yet come. He last appeared in public on June 26 in Italy, two days before hospitalization. Although TV news footage from that day shows Marchionne weak and with apparent trouble Page 1 of 3 John Elkann: Sergio Marchionne "Will not Return" Published on iItaly.org (http://www.iitaly.org) breathing, some Italian press accounts say that the situation "precipitated almost without warning" while others spoke of an "unspecified aggressively infectious disease" only recently diagnosed. Whatever the cause, no improvement will come, for his condition is "irreversible," according to the hospital; and on July 21 Fiat Chrysler chairman, John Elkann, 42, wrote a wistful semi-obituary letter to the company's 236,000 employees, reminding them that it was Marchionne's "intellect, perseverance and leadership that saved Fiat." Marchionne, born in Italy but raised in Canada, took over the then failing 119-year-old Fiat company [3] in 2004. -

Iniezioneiniezione the Newsletter of the Northwest Alfa Romeo Club
IniezioneIniezione The newsletter of the Northwest Alfa Romeo Club “Barn Find” at Alfa of Tacoma It was about a week before the Half-fast Lap last September when my friend, Steve Anderson (now a new club member) called, so excited about a “barn find” he had heard about that he couldn’t even wait for me to finish my shower. An uncle, Steve Bates, had been to his house for dinner the night before, and had told of a 1957 Alfa spider that his brother-in-law had taken to Alfa of Tacoma for repairs in 1977 and never picked up. Steve B’s brother-in-law, Phil George, had lived in Richland and acquired the car in about 1967. Steve remembers that Phil drove the car actively, and on one particular “hold on tight” ride, Phil told him that he and the Alfa “became one” when he drove. Steve had his doubts. When the engine began to show problems, Phil brought it to Alfa of Tacoma. Carlo ended up rebuilding the top and bottom ends, the front suspension, the brakes, and replaced the steering box. Carlo knew the car and said Phil had always taken good care of it, but when it came time to pick it up, he couldn’t pay for it. He stopped by often to see it, though. Phil remarried, but his new wife thought he really didn’t need that car, so there it sat, in the second bay from the window, on jack stands and under a cover. Phil died about five years ago and Lino had no idea how to contact any of the family. -

Letters to Shareholders – First 10 Years Collection 2.82 MB
Letters to Shareholders First 10 years INVESTOR DAY 21 November 2019 I’m grateful for the support you have shown Exor during our first decade as we’ve worked to change our scope, form and organization. We have, however, not changed our purpose, which is to build great companies, and we look forward to continuing to do that with your support. I have enjoyed writing our annual letters to you as they are a special moment each year to pause and learn from our past and to think about our future. Going through those letters, what is reassuring is that there has been consistency between the intentions we expressed and the outcomes we achieved - something we are determined to maintain going forward. As we have reflected on our next decade, we have spent time defining the culture we’ve created within Exor, which combines an entrepreneurial spirit, financial discipline, clarity of purpose and a set of shared values. We believe these will continue to provide us with a strong base on which to build and create value for all of our stakeholders. I would like to conclude with a special thank you to all my colleagues both within Exor and also throughout our companies for their many achievements to date and, more importantly, in anticipation of the things we will achieve together in the future. 2009 Dear Shareholders, 2009 was a very significant year for our Company. First and foremost, in March we were able to complete the merger between IFIL and IFI, the two historical holding companies listed on the Italian Stock Exchange, to create Exor, a company now 47% held by the market and 53% by Giovanni Agnelli e C., the private company fully owned by my family. -

PRESS RELEASE // JANUARY 2018 THE ABARTH SAGA, A TASTE OF THE SWISS COLLECTION OF ENGELBERT MÖLL AT THE RETROMOBILE SHOW Reborn 10 years ago, the Italian racing car market with the scorpion outstripped all the major names during the post-war boom. This amazing adventure will be recounted during the Retromobile show through 22 models taken from Engelbert Möll’s magnificent Swiss collection CARLO ABARTH, A CHARACTER ! When it comes to wizards with mechanics, France had Amédée Gordini. Italy had Carlo Abarth. On 15 November 1908, Dora Taussig, heir to a textiles company, gave birth to a baby boy with a strong character: Karl Abarth, mostly know under the name of Carl. As a teenager, he showed a strong interest in mechanics, particularly everything to do with motorcycles. Initially, he worked for Castagna & C in Vienna, but then his career The Engelbert Möll’s collection path changed when he joined the Motor Thun workshop (run by Copyrights : Rémi DARGEGEN Count Thun). When one of its drivers defected, he found himself competing in Austria’s motorcycle grand prix. He raced the fastest time in the free trials and the qualifying heats: Karl had entered the big boys’ playground. The die has been cast and it was the beginning of a series of victory. His reputation extended well beyond Austria: he managed to win a wager that he could beat the Orient Express on the Vienna-to-Ostend stretch. In 1938, he was asked to race for Italy – the birthplace of his own father who had come back to live in Merano, in the Trentino.
